Irish Setters and Timberland Pro’s are the way to go👌🏽 comfortable, durable and only cost a little over $100. Got my Irish Setters 2 years ago for $120 and they’re still going strong. Might need to resole them soon, but 2 years is satisfactory for me 💪🏼
This is the review I needed to see. Been wearing Red Wings for 10 years now and have been thinking of getting a pair of Brunt’s since everyone talks so good about them. Definitely sticking with Red Wings.
Redwings are way over priced for the durability 've had 7 pair prolly I break them down jus as fast as Walmart boots sure they are more comfortable but not going to pay 260 bucks for a boot that last 90 days ive had wolverines from tractor supply for 9 months now
Try a pair of thourogoods they are about 250 and up they are the only ones that have lasted me over a year. 16 months and still going. Going to send them in this winter 150 for a complete rebuild
My research on Brunt boots reveals thin leather uppers, no Goodyear welt, and soles are glued. It’s a cheap Chinese production boot. If you want a quality boot, you will have to spend twice as much for good pair.

Don't they're junk especially if u get a pair that's made in Asia. Bought a pair of cold weather ones for a hunting and work and they were absolute trash. Hurt my dang heel too much because whoever designed them thought it would be a good idea to add a stitched seam directly behind ur heel that sticks out about a quarter of an inch. They weren't even comfortable to drive with let alone walk around all day at work or out in the woods scouting. Definitely were not water proof either. Couldn't even handle some light snow shoveling without getting my feet soaked. Gave them to my dad and got a pair of Irish setter elk trackers instead. Mostly using them for hunting though and a little snow shoveling and plowing. Way better boots. Still need to find some good waterproof work boots though.
I recommend STC’s I’ve had mine for about 1-2 years and there super comfortable but i also welding in them and have never gone through a pair of laces so i give them 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ they still got aggressive tredd on them. 👍
My 8in Georgia Athens lace up’s lasted me almost a year in foodservice delivery. Comfortable the whole time but the soles finally gave out and separated. Bought a new pair of Ariat Rebar Lifts and so far they are comfortable as can be and fit great.
I’m in the same boat man. If I could add pics I’d show you lol. My first pair came and it had a bad spot where the sole meets the boot so they sent me another pair and let me keep the defective ones “hats off to them it was a cosmetic defect” I would have put more defects like that in one hour on site tbh.. So they send me a 2nd pair. I go to take them off after 4 days and I put one foot on the sole and pry it off cause I’m a lazy piece of 💩 and I’m not bending over. Sole stayed on the floor and the boot was still on my foot. So I JB welded them clamped them and I was still in my 30 days so I returned the JB weld pair and the sent me a new pair of the Marin 8” (I had a different model before the evolution or something) so at this point for $160 I have a pair of Marin’s and a pair of evolution’s and that 3rd pair I reckon they’ll donate.. they are not nearly as dependable as I thought they would be.
