Homemade Halloween Animatronic Show - Teddy Ruxpin taken by Freddy Fazbear. Warning, jump scares!

- This is a complete animatronic attraction that I put together for last year's Halloween. It featured synchronized audio, video, lighting, wind effects and of course a modified Teddy Ruxpin with 10 servos. I wrote the script and had a voice actor perform it. This took a lot of work and I hope you enjoy it!
To Teddy Ruxpin fans: I hope this doesn't bother you in any way. I used this as a way to connect with my kids as they loved the process and they are (were) very into Five Nights. The conversion to Freddy Fazbear is completely reversible. I really appreciate all the messages and kind words I have received from all the Ruxpin fans! I am a die-hard Teddy fan too.

As a fan of Teddy Ruxpin and fnaf, I approve of this. You know, I kind of feel like the design of Toy Freddy was inspired by Teddy Ruxpin. After all they have similar features and Toy Freddy does sport a top hat that would go perfect with Teddy Ruxpin's tuxedo ;)

Oh my goodness!!!!! As a Teddy fan, this is absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!! His movement is so fluid!!! The addition of the arm and leg movements are amazing!!! FANTASTIC JOB!!!
I imagine this should be what the animatronics would be more like, cute soft and cuddly like Willy’s Wonderland.

Hyper Man It is! XD I really don’t like the idea of Teddy being evil or turned into Freddy like this, (I think it honestly to me, ruins his character and it’s just not the way he should be seen as scary and stuff), but just the way this guy animated him and everything like this is incredible!

Which micro controller and servos did you use?
Hi Aaron, that’s great! What hitec servos did you use for eyes and nose? I bought hitec hs 311 but not sure they will fit.
I can't remember exactly what's in there, but they are standard sized. So they could be 311s. It's definitely a tight fit, I had to trim some foam.
Aaron are the eyes 180 degrees ore more, I am using a mini sg51r for the eyes but looks like it has a limited range.
Hmm, trying to remember. I know that I used a modified mechanism with an extended pivot arm for the eyes that might've increased the range. I didn't use the rubber rollers that the eyes normally move with. I'll have to take a look, maybe I can send you a picture
