This was a little tricky but I like the idea. There are so many options in the elements to help us with designing

First method will only work with letters that are in larger uppercase or capitals since when you crop you would cut out parts of a lot of lowercases letters e.g. p or q or y.
2nd method is working.

Ahhh yes, the text I was using had a lower case g so I had problems
