It was Rosé's idea like the dance, music then they both arrange it. At first Lisa has hesitation to join her because Lisa said she's a rapper and Rosé told her so what if she's a rapper then Lisa said yes, she just trust Rosé with a thing she's kind of insecure sometimes. Their bond is really strong ❤️

This was for Blackpink's first official private stage (fan meeting) in Korea in 2019. Every member was supposed to do a solo stage just like their concerts. Lisa originally was gonna do a dance performance cuz that's her thing. But Rosie suggested singing together :) so they went with it. Also, I agree that Lisa and Rosie's voices go really well together, especially in Sure Thing and Love To Hate Me.

before I know Blackpink even Lisa, I was so amazed by Lisa's and Rose's voice
I don't know if it's gonna happen with their slow release of music but I'm dying for them doing sub units (Jennie&Lisa, Jennie&Jisoo, Rosé&Lisa, Jisoo&Rosé or Jisoo&Lisa)

DEAR GOD IN HEAVEN!!! Others have probably told you there is more behind the scenes footage of rehearsing this. Rose' did invite Lisa to sing with her. And you can see that Rose' is visibly worried when they practice. BUT what slowly becomes clear and dawns on you is that Rose' isn't worried about Lisa's singing, she's worried about her friend getting hurt by the experience. However, very quickly it becomes even more clear that Lisa is going to KILL this song easily and they pretty much just have fun rehearsing. It certainly makes one wonder if Lisa has ever failed at anything EVER. She was the straight A's student at YG.

But I have the same hopes as you. They live in the same building so when they aren’t away from band promotions or events they spend a lot of time together.
