We really need a receiving / trapping video for Thomas :P
I'm bad at reverse hit / tomahawk but get better results when I:
- get my hands really low (to the ground) and make sure my hands move through an arc, from behind to in front of the player (to stop the stick movement, at point of connecting with the ball, being just about the wrists) - the hands must really 'follow through' the hit.
- swing my stick back, just when i start to lunge - that helps with swing timing.
- try to be as flat with my swing as I can (Paul talked about an airplane landing on a runway in the other video - around 3m58s - really good advice. Long, low and smooth).
Also, my coach actually told me to try hitting off the left foot (not the right) - it makes balancing easier. I find that has helped me. Maybe you want to try and tell me what you think?

Kan het zijn dat als gij met extra low-bow stick backhand slag/flats doet dat het niet zo goed gaat? Omdat ik had eerst standard bow stick met die ging het goed maar met die low-bow ging het niet zo goed..🤔
