No one described Pedro Ximenez so well, enlightening!

Hi, my daughter bought me a 30 quid bottle of PX 30 year sherry for xmas last year I love sherry but it tends to be a 10 quid bottle from tesco.
I dont think i could drink the whole bottle at one go so how long would it keep once opened and what is the best storage after its opened

Hard to find good PX here in the US. Nice description, a very underrated wine in my opinion.

Thanks Christopher. Here in the UK most of the big supermarkets will have a small range of Sherries, and most will include one PX style. We have a few specialist stores with a choice of them too, but it is pretty easy to find an example.

Hey I have found a bottle that looks old, and you seem like you know a lot about wines. It's an old bottle of Harveys Fino pale dry cherry. I tried to google it but found no bottles with the same design and cl. Only a really small 50ml bottle. Could you help me?

Hi there. It's really difficult to say whether this wine will be good to drink. Fino sherries are not really meant to be kept for a long time, so if the bottle is very old it might well be spoiled by now - a lot depends on how it has been stored too. This would not have been a very expensive wine, so is probably not very valuable either. Good luck if you do open it - I hope it is good.
