Thanks for including my interview with Sammy in the video!! FOR THOSE WONDERING, I am still in touch with Sammy and he is doing well! I do know the reason he left the internet but he did ask me to not disclose anything, as it does involve some personal stuff. Just know that he is enjoying his life and focusing on his family and future rn! I’m really glad to have gotten the opportunity to befriend Sammy during the time I did, he really is a great person to talk to.
@@papa_ice_water I love how you just completely disregarded the statement "he did ask me to not disclose anything" and decided to be a nosy POS anyway.
Honestly, Sammy was spitting fire on the Rant Against the Sonic Fanbase with stuff like "Your fantasies can't ever be quenched" and "When will you learn that your actions have consequences." It legit sticks in my head because it sounds so awesome like something out of some kind of novel or movie, but you find out that it's a 14 year old child screaming at other children online. I love the internet.
I hear “your fantasies will never be quenched” and think about the way some Sonic fans will treat certain games. Sonic Colors went from “the game that saved the franchise” to DOGSHIT Sonic Adventure 1 went from goated to a 50/50 chance of it being considered shit or good People unironically think base 06 is peak And most recently, people are starting to shit on Mania more, some even propping up Superstars in the process.
That last part of the statement left by Sammy's mom- that "Before you continue to bash our parenting skills, I'm quite certain that your parents would be appalled to know how you spend your time on the internet as well. If they are not, then I pity your future even more so."? Absolutely iconic.
I feel so bad for Justin, poor kid was just trying to have fun with his new camera and people threatened him for looking different. He seems like such a sweet boy. Humanity is awful
i can’t believe these actual adults would do something so disgusting like doxxing and threatening a CHILD. they do it to ones that look like justin and ones that don’t and it’s just insane to me. they clearly aren’t sane individuals
I feel so awful for him too, the poor dude was only trying to have some fun. People are so goddamn horrible. He seems to have a huge personality and an amazing sense of humour, I wish those hateful scumbags shut their traps and let Justin do his thing - I’m convinced he would’ve made awesome content.
Sammy literally never lied though. “Your fantasies can’t ever be quenched” applies to every single fandom in the world, and it needs to be discussed 😭💀
Honestly though; more and more nowadays no matter how much companies and developer try to cater to the fans, they are never satisfied and must always find something to criticize
Comparing Sammy to Chris is actually deplorable Chris grew up in a very insane household and he wasn't treated for his autism at all and he ended up doing horrible things and not to mention Sammy was a kid when he was being cringe which is pretty normal for a kid with or without autism, so comparing a child to an insane adult is very disgusting
Sammy got the good ending and broke the lolcow cycle by embracing the meme intead of having a sperg out like Chris. The reason Chris gets trolled to this day is cause he never learns.
@@Supershowsunnithis this this Also to anyone reading, the comparison is strictly because the internet targets ppl with autism and clear intellectual differences - the term they call them is lolcows and originally places like 4chan groups of trolls would keep tabs on the person on a forum, updating as they go and eventually doxxing them usually. If you ever see that, that’s what they’re referring to (deep internet lore from someone who was chronically online)
Huh? If a child was screaming his lungs out like a freak, much like Sammy was doing it, much like Chris did it in the same way, I would say they're pretty similar Chris grew in a broken household, so that made everything worse for him, but Sammy should be 'a normal child', and if you think a child doing THAT is normal, oh boy, please don't have kids
It also is definitely something that needs to be brought up how autistic people and ESPECIALLY autistic children are heavily targeted for bullying campaigns, going on for years at a time even. I really wish more people would address this issue and call it out when it happens. A lot of the stuff I see in "cringe" compilations are people (especially children) who are clearly vulnerable people. I'm an autistic adult now but I grew up on the Internet from the age of like 9 and so I've experienced this stuff first hand MANY times. So it's just incredibly important to me that we start protecting the autistic community from this stuff and stop contributing to bullying just because they're "cringe".
Autistic kids do weird stuff, autistic adults that were allowed to get away with that stuff, turn into absolute deickheads. Parents should never let autistic kids anywhere near the internet.
My cousin actually went to high school with Rebecca Black. Apparently she was just some girl at the school then got a random boost of fame and was bullied out of the school until she was homeschooled. She was apparently a super nice girl who got bullied too hard. Poor girl. Glad she's doing better now
I mean my sister's friend grew up on the same street with Justin Beiber before he became famous From what I hear he was always a little shitweasel. And like he was known as one of the "Stinky headlice kids" apperantly his mom was like a hoarder or something, eaither way she had a bad case of the bent elbow and bent over head. He was apperantly also known to just shit on people for no reason and those leaked videos of his where he's making those racist "jokes" yeahh that's like. The short hairs on a rat's scrotum with what he would say. He apparently never cared much for Jewish people. If you know what I mean
honestly though it's kinda sad how a lot of people really cannot tell when people are playing a character, like a lot of people used to believe the nostalgia critic was a guy who took cartoons way too seriously
As someone who popped in on Misha semi-frequently from 2016-2020, I was impressed by his progress. Happy that he didn’t let the hate get to him, I knew that while he still may not have been great at music, he had potential. After all, he was a LITTLE kid at the time, and he just turned 17 years old. However, last year I was curious to see where his music was at now as I hadn’t even heard his name in three years. I listened to a song off his recent album Unimaginable Feelings, the song called i lose control. and HOLY SHIT. I was blown away by what I was hearing, the improvement was insane. I took a deeper stroll into the album and wow. Misha was FIFTEEN when he released one of, if not the most amazing pop album I’ve ever heard. He makes genuinely great music, and with talent like he has now he has a very bright future ahead of him. As a musician myself, I’m excited to see where he goes from here.
I am 16 years old right now but before i was 15. I accidentlly doing cringe jokes which led to a massive harassing and doxxing to the point i got depression and until now i have the fear of social life, adults and anyone outside.
@@OceleroGamersnah. It isn’t that deep or serious. No one cares about the game in this case, it’s all about the weird little kid being a meme. No one cares if you enjoy Sonic.😊
Actually Misha was based as fuck. It's truly a small dick move to bully a kid that made a jingle, and actually those jingles are more worthwhile and creative than what any of those gossip commentators have ever done lol. The irony.
The Lil Tay story is horrible and it's unfortunate she's still living that life. The people around her are selfish and narcissistic, which has rubbed off on her. Her mom and brother have definitely exploited her for money and fame. She never got to have a normal childhood. She was thrust into the limelight, got caught in a custody battle with her parents, and was taught that fame is everything. I honestly can't believe a word she says because she was taught to lie at such an early age. She lied about so many things, it was probably hard for her underdeveloped brain to keep track of it all. Her mom, brother, and manager(?) should all be held accountable for child abuse. No clue what the dad's involvement is in any of this, as all the only info we got was via Tay, her brother, and TMZ. All three are untrustworthy. She will have an extremely hard time surviving in the world as an adult. I feel bad for her. Her family has failed her big time. She's gonna get into a lot of trouble with the law, i just know it. Anyway, this was a huge trip down memory lane. I'd almost forgotten about these people.
It has always been insane to me how willingly grown adults will attack children online, when they know damn well they would never treat a child that way under any other circumstances. It's like being on a screen as a tuber, celebrity or what have you is a license for adults to shit on them. It' is weird. It just goes to show that people really are animals when their behavior isn't checked. the internet has resulted in giving people the sense that they can behave without limits and without consequence, facilitating the primacy of their worst impulses.
Agreed and I think theres an opposite side of the spectrum. Ppl who have parasocial relationships with complete strangers on the internet creep me the fxck out
So bloody true! Ugh, the way Leafy would talk sh*t about children acting like y'know children was so gross and creepy (the way he targeted that poor girl in the Matty video and calling her the r-slur is absolutely atrocious). I swear, the internet has always been a hellish place, but the way it sucks the empathy and common sense out of so many users is both unsurprising, but hugely disappointing.
MattyB, RebeccaBlack, Sammy, and Misha gave me some serious whiplash from the sheer force the nostolgia cracked me in the head. There's some serious contrast comparing to how both Rebecca and Misha dealt with this attention. Really interesting stuff.
"His address and phone number were doxed And his family became aware of what he was doing" Him screaming at the top of his lungs And running around And kicking his doors and Hitting things against the floor did not raise any questions to his parents in that house???
@@chloestorm19946He probably recorded these right when he got home from school and before anyone else got home themselves. How about this, let's not dox fucking children as a joke?
These types of situations always reek of extreme neglect, only to get involved with their children when they're forced to be brought into the situation by an outside source.
I knew a kid with progeria in my school. I was like 20-something when I learned that this condition usually causes a premature death at the age of ~15, and since he was my age, this meant that he was likely already gone by the time I learned this. It was a gut-wrenching realization.
@@1anfinity08 At some point he moved with his family to Great Britain, probably to better accommodate his health-related needs, I don't know what happened later.
It's a little late for that, also singling out influencers (no quotes because that's indeed what they are) or any user type based on age does not help and could lead to either sheltering, ignorance, or rebellion which i can confirm as someone who was not allowed to use the internet until later in life, kids are going to have hobbies anyway and it would be more wise to take baby steps when introducing new people, especially children
Unavoidable unless you prevent your child from using the internet in its entirety. Anything your child posts, whether it be video, audio, or text has the potential of becoming a meme. Not too sure on how the landscape is today, but especially ten years ago, all it took was for one person to find it, think it's funny, and spread it on a massive scale. You could theoretically monitor and micromanage your child's every action online, but even that isn't fool proof and holds even greater developmental risks for them.
@@gem_b7798 The real problem is that the internet, it's culture and its exponential development is still relatively new, and trying to manage how your children engage with it is an extremely complicated issue that no one seems to be approaching and discussing in any real way. The internet is vastly different than how it was even just ten years ago. And the way it changes will continue to become even more drastically different. Any legal regulations are made on a reactionary whim by clueless old people who are beholden to their financial sponsors, and unless they have a healthy experience with it themselves, most parents are just as clueless. Best you can do is give your child proper guidance on the distinction between the online and real world and how to properly manage both.
i was undoubtedly a Rebecca Black hater back when Friday went viral, but i have to admit something. all these years later, on random fridays the song will pop back into my head. i don't remember other songs from that time in the same way. truly a catchy song. well done, Rebecca. You really did win in the end!
Indeed. Go check out the cover version done by Leo Moracchioli from Frog Leap. It was secretly a killer song, all along - we just didn't realise until later.
I went to high school with Giovanna Plowman at the time the video came out. We were both freshmen in 2012. I didn't know her very well but we a had a class or two together and I remember I wore this goofy pair of Aztec print patterned leggings to school the one day and she told me she really liked them. I remember feeling so terrible for her at the time the video came out. I know it was a crazy gross and dumb thing for her to do, but so many kids were so cruel to her afterwards, and even teachers would make comments in the week or so following the video coming out. Glad to see she's doing well after all these years.
There wasn’t really any innocent or sane explanation as to why she would make or release that video- didn’t seem like she enjoyed doing it …so it’s kinda messed up that everyone thought that it was appropriate to dogpile onto this girl… For all we knew she could have been a victim, or at the very least mentally disturbed
The one person who I remember talking about being a target for serious online bullying was the creator Sydsnap, when she was younger she posted a "Meant to be cringy" Weeb video like she was doing a character and Leafy took it seriously as he did with his videos about children because god forbid people be cringy online and she ended up being the most watched video on his channel, she basically couldn't be on the internet at all because of his fans constant harassment and basically became a recluse for years because of the amount of trauma she had from the experience, it's only thanks to her partner Garnt (Gigguk) that she became a content creator, she talked about the experience on the Trash Taste Podcast
Garnt is Thai. I can’t speak from experience because that’s not my culture, but maybe that’s a more common name there? Not sure. I know a lot of Thai people have English nicknames. But to my knowledge that is his legal name.
now tell that to all the people saying that the parents of these kids were horrible for letting them produce content, tons of people are saying that. I dare you to go tell them THIS TYPE OF COMMENT every single time because it's not the parent's fault it's the fault of the internet allowing people to do their evil acts of bullying and so on
I’ll never understand people’s desire to bully others, especially children, online for being a bit cringe. Sammy’s outbursts were funny to watch but doxxing him and putting his family in danger?? What is wrong with people?
I agree. I think the reason why this happened though was mostly because of the commenrary type content like Leafy. It also highlights why children shouldn't upload videos on high populated platform websites.
Thank you so much for the update on Tsimfuckis, me and my best friend used to love that dude man and we genuinely believed he died, it's so dope to hear he's still kickin life's ass out here
Unfortunately he's been really suffering for a while now as his condition has progressed over the past year. Unable to speak or walk, apparently his doctor is unsure if he even has progeria and attempted to test for some gene. Still no word from them, but he is posting community updates every month or so. Still alive, but not doing very well at all. Really unfortunate Wavy didn't mention this.
I'm so happy to see Sammy doing well in life after everything he's been through as a kid. It's sad to see him leave the internet, but knowing that he's happily living his life in privacy makes me a bit happy.
As soon as I heard, "When will you learn that your actions have consequences!" | immediately recognized Sammy. Hundreds of RUclipsrs owe him a thank you for making their videos funny.
Sammy, you hold a special place in my heart as the personal reason as to how I learned that my actions have consequences. I'm happy he made it out on top, some people get consumed by the trolling. He has my respect and I'm wholeheartedly in awe of his transformation, growth, and endurance.
not gonna lie Sammy annoyed the living hell out of me and I rediculed him, just not online. But we all grow at some point (maybe not all) and having the experience of my nephew struggling with autism it really changed my attitude and I am truly happy the kid has found himself and matured into an adult! Good shit Sammy!
I’m glad you included Sammy for this video. I know he wasn’t acting professional in his videos, but it absolutely bugged me that he was being picked on. I know it’s the Internet, and it was bound to happen with the way he presented himself, but it doesn’t change the fact that folks were being infinitely more childish about it than he was in his videos. I had a few moments where I questioned the whole thing, and was given the usual spiel of “It’s the Internet,” “Grow thicker skin,” etc. I’m just glad it didn’t go on long enough to mentally break him like we’ve seen with other young folks like child actors.
He was a child. Why do children have to be "professional"? Let kids be kids instead of forcing them to live up to your adult sensibilities, please. The adultification of children is why I didn't have a childhood.
loving the long-form videos, it's obvious that a lot of research went into this. i'd heard of most of the people in this video, but only based on their virality. this shed light on them as people and how much going viral online can affect a person.
forcing a scared child to watch a horror movie knowing it terrifies them isn’t okay. it could be argued as abuse if they did it purely to make her suffer or upset.
I mean it does fall under abuse if she was made to watch them against her will and it had a negative effect on her. I was abused a shit ton as a kid but that doesn't mean I have any right to dismiss anyone else's abuse because that would honestly be so insulting.
@@najadamu2724 Gee, I had no idea the clothes you wear and music you listen to can magically rewire your brain functionality, but parental @buse can't.
Sammy was an absolute icon, i still remember so clearly the day his vid blew up in 2013. I really think that his metamorphosis into a beloved meme changed the internet for the better
People need to lay off the hyperbolic fluff. What exactly did he do to achieve "icon" status? How is he on the same level of Prince, Marilyn Monroe, or Nelson Mandela? A socially inept child throwing a tantrum about video games nobody likes in no way equates an icon.
Seeing the MattyB stuff again as a grown adult makes me smile. He's so cute as a kid he did not deserve that bullying. How dare a child sing covers of adult songs, not like we did that as kids :P
Most of the people who hate on kids posting cringey content in their middle school years are just projecting their own shame of how much of a cringey mess they were themselves back then.
Ummm not to be rude but we are ALL cringe in middle school. That’s just facts. There aren’t any laid back chill cool kids in middle school. They’re all little freaky creeps.
Sammy took that bullying and wiped his ass with it and earned everyone's respect. If the internet were our evolutionary history, Sammy is the fish that grew legs and lungs because the ocean wasn't good enough for him. Those worthy of survival will follow his path.
Sammy had a point though, saying someone's bad because they like something another person doesn't like, it really doesn't make sense. The fact that people twice his age or more couldn't understand that is just sad.
god its amazing the commentary channels that called out "cringe content" i.e just kids doing kids stuff managed to be infinitely more cringe themselves
sammy reminds me of my son, who also has rants about roblox in the same manner. autism is only a traumatic disorder because people bully them in such cruel ways. so far hes safe offline but i know soon he will end up on here and i can only hope his experience is kinder than sammys or even my own
tell me about it! I live with ASD and dear fucking god the world is so fucking cruel one minute the internet can be laughing at something you said and the next they could be calling you "wrong" or "an idiot" for getting offended at some african american using the n-word because they say they can without thinking about how people will likely get offended at even hearing the n-word. All of what I just said is usually why I don't open up online, people show their true sides(their evil unhinged side) too quickly so I don't trust anyone to legitimately just let someone have a different belief or to let them explain themselves. Seriously EVERYONE IS FUCKING DIFFERENT AND IF YOU PUNISH THEM FOR BEING DIFFERENT THAN YOU ARE NO BETTER THAN THE FUCKING NAZIS(in my opinion of course)
As an autistic person who was constantly harrassed, you're doing a good job. Children should be allowed to express themselves creatively, without having to deal with such a thing. Growing up, I was always forced to hide my interests because I was constantly humiliated and harrassed just for talking about things I liked. I never had friends or anyone to talk to, so I took to the internet. My mother was like a hawk, so I ended up sneaking into online spaces as a vulnerable 13 year old. This lead to me being groomed multiple times. You not suppressing your childs creative expression is wonderful, because if you did he'd find some sort of other outlet, and that could lead to him endangering himself. I wish I had that sort of support when I was younger.
Autism often shows itself in cruel ways, especially when you become an adult and your bullsheit won't be tolerated anymore. See chan, Chris. Autism isn't an excuse for being a deick.
Autism is not a traumatic disorder, it's just something we live with. Ableists who make it their entire personality to cast us out for being different and perform science experiments on autists to rewire our brains in an attempt to make us neurotypical are what's traumatic, because they can't just accept people for who they are. They are probably the same kind of people that would bleach dark skin to make black people look white, considering how many of them were also r@cist.
I'm so happy to hear Justin is still alive and thriving to this day! I remember seeing his videos way back and always hearing the rumour he passed away and of course I believed it. Hope he gets to live a long and happy life doing what he does what he loves most!
Sammy is NOT chris-chan, for one he was Actually a child when he made his videos who physically and mentally grew up, second Sam's parents are actually parents and not barely attentive herders, and lastly Sammy's opinions and criticisms are mostly correct, even as a kid he had some pretty good points. That's why people now and days like sammy, he was not only very funny and quotable, but also had a great personality. If he wants to stay away from the internet, much respect to him, live your life dude, hope he lives a fulfilling one!
That's Encyclopedia Dramatica for you. Every time they find out that somebody they made a page against has autism they immediately start comparing them to Chris-chan without question. They claim that it is just "satire" but i will not sugarcoat it, it's ableism.
I'm proud to say that I never bullied children on the internet. I remember unironically (maybe semi-ironically) liking the Pokemon Go song when it was new and finding it pretty gross how mean people were being. In general, I don't understand why people spend so much time seeking out things they don't like, so that they can make a hateful comment towards it. Why not spend that time enjoying things you like?
sad that this is not the norm, it's like people have never been children doing cringey things that would kill them now when they lay in bed and think a little too hard at 3am
I had a non internet mate that showed me that pokemon go video while we were having a few beers. We had a giggle and left it at that, dude was a child, he did something very ridiculous, he didn't need his life ruined over it.
as a child, i definitely laughed at things. i hate that i used to watch ricegum 🤢. i never went out of my way to actually comment, but the fact i viewed that content disgusts me now. as an adult though i’ll never get making fun of kids.
Man, watching those old Sammy clips really made me realize how much I miss him and his presence on RUclips. It’s a real shame to hear that the haters ended up pushing too far as per usual.
I legit can't stand that Sammy got legit trolled in real life. When he clearly was just a normal kid. Dude was just iconic 🤣 i love those lines you put in 😭
Sammy doesn't sound upset in the videos, it therefore seems more deliberate like he knew making these rant vids would only give more attention and channel growth, especially after seeing the effect of his first one.
I understand that Friday sucks and so so cringe but that doesn't justify sending death threats to Rebecca and bullying her online. people who does that needs a reality check.
Seriously that bunch of bullies are even more childish and immature than the kids they make fun of. Seriously those people should get a life because they clearly don't have one.
9:40 Sammy seems like a nice kid. It completely bothers and disgusts me to hear that adult trolls were calling this kid "chris chan" 32:00 also shoutout Justin Tsimbidis! he is a kind person and a badass who made many people smile!
@@NFSBeast2365 Do you think it's appropriate to harass kids with autism because they are online? do you struggle to empathize with people? have you ever felt sympathy in your life?
I had totally forgotten about Justin until I saw him in this video, he used to crack me up back in the day with the stuff he’d say. Like “I, personally, think he’s a moron” about Fred. He’s unironically hilarious and a really thoughtful, well-spoken dude.
Sammy is the man. Clearly incredibly intelligent. He was cranking out uploads and webpages in grade school with gen1 graphics. I cant wait to read about a tech career or creative outlet in the future. Hes the man...keep it up brother.
The clap backs from misha and his brother was absolute art, it was the beginning of leafys downfall b4 he got clapped hard by content cop. They couldnt compete with the brothers because the only thing they had going was running their mouths into expensive mics.

Wavy you make the best content. I already subbed to all socials for Justin Tsimbidis. I am so glad that man is still alive and happy. What even is time?
It's so weird to think how many of those huge RUclips things have just passed by on me and that even though I was on RUclips ever since it started to exist. I knew of the song Friday back then at least - but I have never heard the full song or watched the video either, I just know of the chorus. All the other things, never knew they existed until years later when they were covered by channels like yours. And each time I learn about something else that apparently was huge back then I keep wondering what on earth I was even doing back then online to have never even heard of any of these things.
I’m glad Sammy came out of it better, and seems pretty successful. I think autistic people are often spectacles on the internet because of abnormal behavior. My parents didn’t let me post videos as a kid but I can imagine getting mocked similarly.
I was thinking that too. I was actually wondering what his problem was until I began to understand what exactly autism was. I have it as well but my videos would have been filled with nothing but awkward silence 😂😂 I wouldn't be vocal like Sammy was I would be quiet and just awkward 😂😂 the viewers would probably want to take turns poking me with a stick to see if I'm still there 🤣 I guess autism is different for everyone.
Never believe a mother when somebody is fighting for custody without knowing the full story. They will lie and make up horrible things about you. I’ve been a victim of this myself but ended up winning full custody in court.
I used to make videos in elementary school and kids bullied me terribly for it. I can't imagine them going viral and having grown adults hate me. These people are strong and I'm happy they're doing better now.
1:26:10 - I'm a lawyer and you are incorrect about that custody statistic. Women do end up with custody of their children more often than men, but that is only because over 90% of custody agreements are uncontested, meaning that men agree that giving the mother primary custody is in the best interest of their children, and they willfully opt-in to a custody arrangement where they are the secondary caretaker. In the minority of custody cases that are actually decided by a judge/arbitrator, the father is actually statistically MORE likely to end up with primary custody than the mother is. Given that the court does not actually decide over 90% of custody cases, it's pretty obvious that the problem isn't really that courts are biased against fathers. The real issue is that most fathers either do not want primary custody of their children, or they are honest enough with themselves to realize that evidence of their track record as a parent will most likely show that it wouldn't be in the best interest of their children if they were to take primary custody. Which is good, I guess, because it saves their families a lot of time, money, and heartache. Fathers who genuinely believe they are the more appropriate primary caregiver fight for that role and win. Unfortunately, that's fewer than 10% of them.
About Rebecca Black, I was a hater back in the day when that video got uploaded. I was a dumb teenager and I felt "jealous" of a girl with money being able to achieve fame with such a bad song, "she's only famous be she is pretty". Same thing with Justin Bieber. That was me back then. Today, I feel bad how both of them got treated.
I also made fun of her relentlessly, but man some people took it waaaaaaaay too hard as somehow personal (issuing death threats, tf?) but seeing her taking it all on the chin and actually proving she can sing was quite the comeback. Although I really don't get the whole hyperpop thing she has now, I'm glad she didn't listen to the haters and proved them wrong
Genuinely expected this video to be crushingly sad but it actually cheered me up to see how well these kid grew up despite their backlash. They were far more mature than the adults that gave the grief.

The consequences quote is unironically iconic. I quote it all the time!
I hear “your fantasies will never be quenched” and think about the way some Sonic fans will treat certain games.

It also is definitely something that needs to be brought up how autistic people and ESPECIALLY autistic children are heavily targeted for bullying campaigns, going on for years at a time even. A lot of the stuff I see in "cringe" compilations are people (especially children) who are clearly vulnerable people.
I'm an autistic adult now but I grew up on the Internet from the age of like 9 and so I've experienced this stuff first hand MANY times.

So bloody true! Pro tip - keep your kids from becoming "influencers" as long as possible

There wasn’t really any innocent or sane explanation as to why she would make or release that video- didn’t seem like she enjoyed doing it …so it’s kinda messed up that everyone thought that it was appropriate to dogpile onto this girl…
For all we knew she could have been a victim, or at the very least mentally disturbed
The one person who I remember talking about being a target for serious online bullying was the creator Sydsnap, when she was younger she posted a "Meant to be cringy" Weeb video like she was doing a character and Leafy took it seriously as he did with his videos about children because god forbid people be cringy online and she ended up being the most watched video on his channel, she basically couldn't be on the internet at all because of his fans constant harassment and basically became a recluse for years because of the amount of trauma she had from the experience, it's only thanks to her partner Garnt (Gigguk) that she became a content creator, she talked about the experience on the Trash Taste Podcast
theres no way Garnt is a real name
Garnt is Thai. I can’t speak from experience because that’s not my culture, but maybe that’s a more common name there? Not sure. I know a lot of Thai people have English nicknames. But to my knowledge that is his legal name.

Lil tay saying she was abused bc they made her watch bride of chucky is honestly insulting to people who were actually abused
Right? That's what I said. Everyone wants to be a victim today, when it's just devaluing actually awful things.
forcing a scared child to watch a horror movie knowing it terrifies them isn’t okay. it could be argued as abuse if they did it purely to make her suffer or upset.
Bride of Chucky isn’t even scary I can name movies 10 times scarier than Chucky

Sammy took that bullying and wiped his ass with it and earned everyone's respect. If the internet were our evolutionary history, Sammy is the fish that grew legs and lungs because the ocean wasn't good enough for him. Those worthy of survival will follow his path.

Sammy had a point though, saying someone's bad because they like something another person doesn't like, it really doesn't make sense. The fact that people twice his age or more couldn't understand that is just sad.
Sammy screaming and yelling IDIOTS! is still my favorite sammy moment. I related to that kid so much and not just because I am a sonic fan.
People after bullying kids and doxxing them, when they get bullied and doxxed back: 😱No!!??!??!!? You can't do that😡🤬!!!!!

sammy reminds me of my son, who also has rants about roblox in the same manner. autism is only a traumatic disorder because people bully them in such cruel ways. so far hes safe offline but i know soon he will end up on here and i can only hope his experience is kinder than sammys or even my own
tell me about it! Seriously EVERYONE IS FUCKING DIFFERENT AND IF YOU PUNISH THEM FOR BEING DIFFERENT THAN YOU ARE NO BETTER THAN THE FUCKING NAZIS(in my opinion of course)
sit em down and make sure he knows not to take the hate personally.
I bet P Diddy wishes Matty B was at some of his house parties
What kind of idiots would compare Sammy to that weirdo Chris Chan?
He resembles liquid chris

I'm proud to say that I never bullied children on the internet. I remember unironically (maybe semi-ironically) liking the Pokemon Go song when it was new and finding it pretty gross how mean people were being. In general, I don't understand why people spend so much time seeking out things they don't like, so that they can make a hateful comment towards it. Why not spend that time enjoying things you like?
sad that this is not the norm, it's like people have never been children doing cringey things that would kill them now when they lay in bed and think a little too hard at 3am
Im glad people dont find my content cringe
Tryna be mcjuggernuggets
i think we can all agree out of everyone here, sammy is the one guy we all have a soft spot for. also HOLY SHIT I FORGOT ABOUT TSIMBIDIS
Oh heck no. Just toddler style rants. Someone needed to protect him against himself.
Uh not me. Sammy is just a grown up baby.
I understand that Friday sucks and so so cringe but that doesn't justify sending death threats to Rebecca and bullying her online. people who does that needs a reality check.
Thank you I agree!
Seriously that bunch of bullies are even more childish and immature than the kids they make fun of. Seriously those people should get a life because they clearly don't have one.
I still quote 'When will you learn?' with my friend group. I hope Sammy is living his best life. He deserves it.
Sammy is awesome. Glad to have been able to watch his journey while he was showing us

The fact that Justin had to spend part of his shortened lifespan benefiting capital and getting laid off in the process says a lot about where we are as a people in the USA.
America was a mistake...
*notv sure what you mean by "benefiting capital and getting laid off". Honestly this video didn't really have my attention since much like a lot of the other video subjects by this creator I haven't heard of many of them, so it was mainly something playing in the background. I'm not sure who Justin is. Not the beibs. Shortened life makes me think of the kid with progeria(sp)? I'll check after I make this comment if that was his name. With that said:
You people talk as if bad shit only happens in America or as if America is the place where the worst shit happens.
I'm not some ignorant kid with blind patriotism. I know America isn't perfect and I'm not going to say the country has a positive future if it follows the path it is currently on. I will say it certainly is better than most other countries out there.
How do you think that kid would have ended up in many other countries? How long do you think he would have lived without modern western medicine or advancements in medical care. (Though one could argue many of our medical advancements from around like 78 years ago and immediately after are actually due to some really twisted angry sounding individuals who kept pointing to the sky with their hands. Overall it saved many life's but giving those people immunity was ridiculous)
I'll tell you where we are as America citizens: even though freedom is just an illusion we are still the most free as citizens. We all have the same rights. Best medical care available. Best country defense available. Etc.
The great thing about this country, if you don't like it you are free to leave. Well, if you could find another country that will actually accept you. If not, don't worry. America will accept you back, even though you think negatively about and turned your back on America. Other countries... Well, they would make sure you stopped breathing, permanently.

It's so weird to think how many of those huge RUclips things have just passed by on me and that even though I was on RUclips ever since it started to exist. I knew of the song Friday back then at least - but I have never heard the full song or watched the video either, I just know of the chorus.

I LOVE these long videos. Perfect for me to listen to at work.

I used to make videos in elementary school and kids bullied me terribly for it. I can't imagine them going viral and having grown adults hate me. These people are strong and I'm happy they're doing better now.
I had forgotten entirely about Tampon Girl, but immediately her introduction unearthed the repressed memory. Dammit, Wavy.

Your only mistake was jealousy.
It should have been disgust.
I also made fun of her relentlessly, but man some people took it waaaaaaaay too hard as somehow personal (issuing death threats, tf?) but seeing her taking it all on the chin and actually proving she can sing was quite the comeback.
