Well, getting all those capture cards will run you about the same price as getting a video mixer, and doing those USB capture cards is not possible since most computer ties the USB bus to all USB ports. Unless you show us physically the options out there.
Although affordable capture cards are still available online, I recommend investing in a video switcher if budget allows. However, for those on a tighter budget, capture cards are a viable alternative.
