just wondering but is the crimson dawn keeper similar to the one in this video? i’m mainly just wanting one that looks and sounds good with multiple colours honestly, and i’m so paranoid about buying something that’s trash

DHL Express is always extremely quick, I’ve noticed. Not only with Sabertrio, but with UK-based companies as well… it always over-estimates the estimated delivery date by about 2 days. Crazy that even during the pandemic, 3 or 4 business days across continents is genuinely nothing for them. If only UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc. could learn from them 🙃
For real. I just ordered a blade from Bendu with USPS and right now I’m fighting with them because apparently they can’t find my address. Unbelievable. Anyway, my Vektra should be arriving this Monday but by what you’re saying maybe before then.
Great video as always :) I do have a question though: Do you have any idea what their next opening is gonna look like? eg will they restock FX sabers which they didn't on Black Friday
Not entirely sure to be honest, they made the switch from Pico Crumble 2.5 to CFX soundboards for their FX sabers last reopening, and I think it may just be a case of not getting board supply. The Neo sabers are their big ticket items, so they may be trying to focus on that, but it may be worth asking them if you’re interested! I’m sure they don’t want to totally abandon it.
I’ve received both a Vektra and Senza saber and I have to note, at least for my experience with both of them, that accessing the Kyberdial and changing volume are two of the hardest things on Sabertrios electronics. I personally wish my Senza had the config for the OLED screen where it shows volume in the menu but sadly it doesn’t and I’m not sure when they made that change as Sabertrio doesn’t really update their actual saber descriptions or how-to page. Currently I’ve sent my Senza back as it was a ready-to-ship saber that came with a very recessed Aux button, this of course made any combination of Aux button commands hard to do, but what I noticed out hr box from my Vektra was that getting gif he Kyberdial as well as Volume took so long it was almost random when it worked. At the moment right now I’m unable to access the Kyberdial even though I had done it with the same commands combo you put up on the screen so I don’t think that’s changed BUT I’m unsure if it’s because I have the blade facing a certain way or not. This isn’t stated in thier how-to page Also small note regarding the Senza, the extra OLED screen no longer comes with games so I assume that entire menu from 2 years ago is no longer being produce..which if that’s the case they need to update their description of that feature as I’m sure many people order it because of that too.
I don't own a Sabertrio yet, but I did see this video. It might help in activating the Kyberdial and/or volume. Hope it helps. Also, according to their facebook page the OLED screen showing the volume/Kyberdial is supposed to come back to Proffie in the upcoming (maybe already released?) @@AdoreYouInAshXI I actually had figured out how to consistently activate the Kyberdial a couple days after posting this, shoulda updated lol But essentially it’s a short hold of the Aux button followed by a quick press of the activation button. Sometimes it can miss but I’ve got it down now And I hope they bring the games back, I kinda bought it for that feature along with just the cool display 😅 but I’m not too picky at the moment I’m mostly happy with the fonts I’ve added and better saber quality of the Sabertrio than some of my other purchases
I own a sabertrio with CFX do you know if the kyberphonic snippets font is going to be available through an update? Sort of like what they did with their exclusive fonts by Ksith?

Hi there i know this is an older video and you haven't posted in a while but i just ordered a neo proffie full durasteel reaver from their rts offerings and i was wondering if when you change color on a certain font does the saber save the color to that font or does it reset to the official color of the font everytime you select it?
Hey lando i got a question. Have you found out how to play the music tracks on S3 proffie hilts? Ive tried every button press, hold and combo i can think of. Or do i need to add tracks through sd? then maybe it will be the aux button 1sec hold and will play along with the quotes/force sounds. Kyberphonics “Menace” demo shows duel of the fates playing.
Awesome video! Can you tell a difference between the speaker in this and the one in your vektra? They switched to 22 mm speakers recently, so I'm wondering if you notice a decrease in quality.
I have the exact same RTS saber but mine has not gone out yet. How is the sound quality of this particular hilt? Is there any space between the chassis and the pommel? What are your thoughts on the hilt itself? Thanks.

@@LandoSabers I messaged Sabertrio about this and they said to alter the activation parameter on the preconfig to turn illuminate to off then reflash. I'm new to proffie and have no idea what this means haha
Hopefully that will make a little bit of sense when my new video comes out today. Essentially, there are parameters in the configuration file for their Proffie sabers that control different aspects, and the illuminated switch is one of them. I didn’t mess with that, but I bet it’s possible.
@@eddiehoang7066 The way Sabertrio defines the lighting on the activation switch is by setting it as another blade, essentially. In the s3config.h file, you'll see that each sound font has 4 "StylePtr" blade styles associated with it. The first is the definition for the main blade, the second and third are actually there for Sabertrio's Krosgaard hilt, so the second and third style definitions don't actually do anything for any hilt other than the Krosgaard (however, they need to be present as the config file defines 4 blades). And the fourth is activation switch. You may not need the second and third style if you define the config to only use 2 blades, but doing so requires removing/commenting out some other parts of the config file, and I haven't had a chance to fully experiment with it, so stick with adding 2 extra "dummy" styles to each sound font you define. As far as actually disabling the light for the activation switch, just set the line that says "StylePtr()" to "StylePtr()" for each font. Since the LED in the activation switch isn't RGB, it's just defined as white to fully illuminate it. Setting it to black turns it off.
I have a question, I just got my RTS proffie lightsaber and I only have the sound fonts up until kylo ren, I was just wondering how do I get the rest. do I have to add them myself? or is there something I'm missing.
I received my sabertrio proffie today. However, when I hold activation switch + press release auxiliary switch, it does not play any tracks? Do you know what I could be doing wrong or missing, for example when I'm on the KROSSGUARD (KSith) that comes with the proffie saber, it does not play any tracks(e.g "i'll show you the dark side", etc)
The track my be missing from the font but not sure why that would be the case Tbh I’ve found that the combination of Aux + Power button commands do not work efficiently For example…changing volumes, accessing Kyberdial and playing tracks, all of which use a combination of the Aux and Power button but barely work when I’m certain I’m doing the right combination or button timing

Hey Lando, I just got my first sabertrio proffie. Are you able to get a TRUE guardian deep blue like Obi Wan's color blade? I am having issues. I am able to get a hoth blue or ben solo (the lighter blue) but not a deep blue like in the prequels. Thanks!
Yes. I talked to Sabertrio. You can change the flicker to no flicker. You can also change the color VIA Kyber Dial function however you are limited to the color palate on the dial. I think you might be able to fine tune the color to get what you want but I don’t know how to do that. I got used to the slight flicker which is the default setting and frankly more authentic.

You have to hold the Aux button and Power button at the same time, but it is a little bit finicky imo Sabertrio makes great quality hilts but the controls on the electronics for the volume and Kyberdial is not so efficient Im having issues trying to activate the Kyberdial and when that starts to work then my ability to easily change the volume goes away I actually sent in my ready-to-ship saber cause the Aux button was too recessed and made it almost impossible to do any of those controls let alone blaster-effects and getting to the sound-bank
@@LandoSabers what replaceable batteries do you recommend??? I have a few spare vape (non-regulated) batteries that are 18650s, but I don’t wanna destroy my saber if it’s not compatible
Neopixel sabers can be dueled with, but you’re running a larger risk of rendering the saber useless if you break a Neopixel blade. There are Neopixel to tri-cree adapters you can buy, which is something I’ll be covering soon actually, that will allow you to duel.
I straight messed up my kylo fx elite dueling 🤺 and have kicked myself ever since so that’s why was wondering I see on these websites they guarantee it but I don’t see how
They have a couple of batches for the RTS sabers: I wanna say 100 or so went out on Friday, the rest should probably go out tomorrow. DHL Express Malaysia to Southeastern US usually only takes about 3-4 business days once shipped, when I first ordered my Vektra last January, it shipped on a Friday and I had it by Tuesday. Crazy quick.

They need to add it to their button commands, which will probably come when they update it in the future

You should have at least 18 sound fonts that go from “Sabertrio” to “Rouge Commander” at the end, and I think one more

One other question, how do u get white on the kyberdial?
If you’re using Kyberdial then you want to go between purple/pink and light blue..it won’t be true white but will very close imo

It will be linked to the color you choose until you re-flash the Proffie through Arduino on the computer.

Can you do one for CFX for us new and upcoming Sabertrio people
I did that last year, the only thing that’s changed is the soundfonts a bit.

How long would you say a full charge lasts? And how long does it take to fully charge ?
About as long as CFX, but these batteries are removable so you can swap them in like a minute.

How did you get one so quickly?? My RTS Senza is still like a week out 😂
They have a couple of batches for the RTS sabers: I wanna say 100 or so went out on Friday, the rest should probably go out tomorrow. DHL Express Malaysia to Southeastern US usually only takes about 3-4 business days once shipped, when I first ordered my Vektra last January, it shipped on a Friday and I had it by Tuesday. Crazy quick.
@@LandoSabers mine went out on Monday or Tuesday so I’m sure it’ll be here by next week at the latest. Glad you were able to get this up so quickly! I was wondering how proffie might compare to CFX on sabertrio’s sabers but it looks like it’s still neck and neck

I dont think my aux button works. its hard to press almost like its stuck in place
If you haven’t already done so I would look to send it back to Sabertrio for repair, they have a 1 year warranty on your purchase

If you were in the RTS sale batch 1, they shipped last Friday I believe. DHL Express usually only takes between 3-4 business days to get to me from Malaysia.
