Has anyone else noticed that this song is a bit of a medley? If you listen closely starting around 0:45, you might recognize the music from the first boreworm battle, the song after you beat the inverted cross, and some of the final boss theme!
That stage is Alien's Lair from Contra. Anyway, after i play this level for 1st time, i punch the soap bubbles which my little cousin does, just in case xD
This music hits all of those 80's vibes for an action movie. Where did you get the sound track? I managed to get the Drostein ones for the remake, and put the vocal track together from the end credit listings.
Oh god, i HATE that god forsaken stage. It was just the bane of my existence (and also, of my one credit runs). These little bastards that either spawn from the stage were the absolute worst part. However, this song is just fuckin awesome, no matter if it still brings me such infuriating memories to date.
lOL I feel you on this stage. It took me years to get past this part, it seems like these things do not have any particular pattern either. Its almost like you just have to play and sort of feel what angle the jack asses are coming down at.
If I ever play this game, I may be a pansy for this, but I must mute the music before reaching the boss of this level because its not this track that trickles down my spine like frantic spiders...
I hate that stage, too! (One of the Hatchlings looks up at me and leaps at my face, successfully grabbing it* BWARGH!!! *falls* Get it off, get if off, get it off!
You can just feel Rick's rage from this song for happened in the previous level
OMG YOUR RIGHT! After what happened in the Last Level Rick is like "I'm going to rip this House Apart!"
This house isn’t simply haunted, it’s alive.
Also I can’t imagine hearing this song without listening to the sounds of the crying monster fetuses.
That first line kind of sounds like something you'd hear from an instruction manual that the background behind the story, enemies, and the levels.
Nothing like a good, old-fashioned flesh level~
5 years later, I announce you, it's an actual vageen.
Mis mas sinceros respetos a los que componen estas bandas sonoras sin duda son artistas
yo juge la version de turbo grafx y las versiones de esas músicas si te cagan de miedo
A reminder that there's way more to this house than just zombies, boreworms, and kidnap victims who are turned into monsters. Much more!

0:40 Is when the music gets good.
This song is AWESOME!
It reminds me of the Trogdor theme from Homestar Runner.
+DaJoshy Holy shit we need a mashup of this song and the Trogdor theme. Pronto!
Fetus punching
I SWEAR 0:25 and on sounds exactly like the beginning of Bowser's Castle theme from Mario Kart 8. Has nobody noticed it?
Amazing simplistic combination of instruments and melodies
This music hits all of those 80's vibes for an action movie.

Good music for a very difficult stage. Random from beginning to the end.
I love this song, I could listen to it all day and all night without getting slightly bored with it : )
This song is like a little angel travelling by me during that nightmerish difficultiest level.
The original monster house.
FUCK'N BUBBLES!!!!
I love this song, but curse stage 6. Really awful difficulty.
This track is fucking awesome! Should've appeared in Splatterhouse 2, 3, or even the Remake!
best music level, I remember getting chills trying to finish this level great music
Its good on the arcade but somehow I feel like the turbo version is better in some parts.
F*CKING BUBBLES!!!
You can tell it’s namco with them sounds in the background
AWESOME!

A great song but I still hate this level
I'd hate to see a womb fall apart! luckily he has the mask.
Nrrgh...those fucking...bubble...things.
Rick kills baby mutants, thats cruel.
@MissMoonCake I think alot of people did
it the hardest level in the game...in my opinion
@obocas I think its supposed to be like the house is alive
and this is its system.
Even though Jennifer died you can still have revenge
no digo que importe, pero lo de la mascara es obvio, de todas formas me encanta la saga de friday the 13th y los primeros 3 splatterhouse por lo menos
TROGDOR COMES IN THE NIGHT!
me too i hate to see a womb fall apart
I got a Metallica feel from this...
1:39 to 2:08 = Ultimate Final Battle Music
Such a lovely game
I love it
A ponerle 8 accesorios a la RPG 7
If I ever play this game, I may be a pansy for this, but I must mute the music before reaching the boss of this level because its not this track that trickles down my spine like frantic spiders...
Pheonix Hazel the baby cry does the tickle very well D:
i'd hate to see poison and fast obas.

the boss is a sooo hard i can,t beat it (that if i play splatterhouse)
I hate that stage, too!
(One of the Hatchlings looks up at me and leaps at my face, successfully grabbing it*
BWARGH!!! *falls* Get it off, get if off, get it off!

@Luismael60 y a quien le importa,es splatterhose!
Awesome song, but awful difficulty.
Absolute worst part of the game.
