Both of these ladies have a way of telling a story that truly makes you feel like you were there with them. I'm an author, and I don't think I could've told their stories any better than they themselves did. And as a side note, as a Southerner, I've had plenty of people tell me they love listening to me talk because of my Southern accent. But for me, the opposite is true. I love listening to Northern accents, especially New Yorkers. Anyway, my heart goes out to these ladies and their families!
I would’ve said the exact same thing to a four year old !!! I couldn’t and still can’t imagine what you went threw. My whole heart goes out to you. Thank you for sharing ! 😭🇺🇸❤️🥀 NEVER FORGET
Damn when Cynthia explained standing in a circle, singing. I started crying. I can't even imagine the raw emotion that was projected through that song 🤧
Omg. I have cried when I thought I had no more 😢. Cynthia-her husband Lance 86th FL standing next to his computer The Bloomberg. Kelly the description of true love. When she described the bubble compared to the jarred metal heap/mess. Articulate Story Teller. God bless the Salvation Army. RIP innocent souls.
I have been watching these videos I was wondering if they have turned these stories into a book. I live in Ontario Canada and watch this happen live on TV that day . I had visited the WTC on a school trip in the 80's . It took me about 3 weeks to get over the shock of this . I wasn't until I did some volunteer work at my sons school that I started to feel somewhat ok . I still feel great sadness over this
Not these stories exactly (although I don't know, I have not watched too many of 'We Were There' videos so maybe some people do appear in both), but Mitchell Zuckoff's book 'Fall and Rise: The Story of 9/11' describes the events of 9/11 through a collection of personal stories of people who did and did not survive that day. Quite similar to what this series is achieving.
I'm devastated ,for the second lady ,she gave her all ,but where was her support ,not the cut off point ,she needed someone ,as much as the victims ,their families ,WHERE WERE THEY !!! shame on you !!!!
To a four year old? She’s fine. She had no idea if her husband was alive at the time, and explaining to a four year old that “daddy may or may not be here anymore” isn’t going to compute.
I agree she shouldn’t have and don’t worry about people trying to correct your grammar! There are people still leaving out ‘RE in ( Your ) … they know who they are ! 🤪
These stories are amazing
Kelly-Jane, Kelly-Jane, what a FINISH. Thank you to both sharers for opening the window into your hearts.
beautiful.... profound words...
Kelly Jane's last sentence said it all.
May Lance and all those not found rest in eternal peace.❣

These are 2 eloquent ladies. Thank you, both, for sharing your testimony.
