Story time can be a wonderful way to spend quality time with your children. In the good old days, grandparents would be surrounded by many grandchildren and would tell and re-tell favourite stories. This not only helps to keep children occupied, entertained and happy in a
safe setting but also creates a feeling of togetherness and sharing among families. The #morals and #values inherent in many of these tales our imbibed in the children without thinking that someone was lecturing them or preaching morals. Keeping the same in mind our Cygnets (Senior KG) students were given Winter Home Learning program; Story Time is Quality Time. The Goals for giving this assignment were to inculcate reading habits, Improve the child’s listening skills and enhance moral values. So, here is Hargun from Cygnets class with her story; The Lion and The Mouse.
