The PSR-S670 is by far,the nicest looking design(out of the entire PSR-series.)I've been going over the differences between all of the models and the only differences, seem to be the number of voices, expansion memory, internal memory and of course, the display screen sizes. That said,I cannot justify spending $2,000 on a S970,when the S670 has all of the essentials I need(which by the way, would be a significant upgrade from my other budget keyboards, like my former MOX6,MOXF6 and my former Korg Kross 2.)

How much do you recommend korg pa300 over this psr 670. Which is best for practicing and recording purposes? I prefer the best Grand piano sound under this budget.

Hello, Suresh! Thanks for your interest in Sweetwater for your purchase. To be honest, I did not know the answer right away, so I had to contact Yamaha about this. And no, there are no odd time signatures. Not even their flagship Genos does that. The time signatures of the Styles are fixed.

If you have any question contact your Sweetwater engineer? What to do if I bought it in San Ash and sale person don't show real knowledge of PRS S670? Meantime there is no way to find tech support from Yamaha keyboards production. Which makes me think to give this instrument back to Yamaha and go for company that has decent support.

does it work with sumsung or other tablets or only ipas? i hate things just being for mac. it should not be allowed. one company forcing us to buy another companies product, giving it a monopoly.

Does anyone knows how to play a slash chord with the arranger? For example how to play C/E which sounds like a C major over a bass of E?

Sorry For the Late Reply, But Here is Your Answer.
      This Method Works For:-
      PSR-S670
      PSR-S770
      PSR-S970
      PSR-1000
      PSR-S975
      PSR-S775
      PSR-S750
      PSR-S950
This Method May Not Work For the Rest Of the 'S' Series.
STEP 1: Connect The Instrument Using MIDI Plugins To A Computer.
STEP 2: Create a MIDI Tune for the Keyboard, Such as that the Instrument, Even When In Standby, Can Operate.
STEP 3: Create A MIDI Trigger For the Desired Song, Hence It Could Install a Different Bass. Set the Bass To 'E'.
STEP 4: Turn On The Keyboard.
STEP 5: Go To The Function Menu on Your Instrument.
STEP 6: Change Your Accompaniment Settings. Add a Bass Boost For More Versatility.
STEP 7: Switch Off the Instrument and Test the Triggers.
STEP 8: If Working Properly, Switch The Instrument ON Again.
STEP 9: Test a Beat Along with Accompaniment (Your Choice On Accompaniment and Beats. You can Do It Without Accompaniment too.)
      If that Worked,
      ENJOY!
(Attention: Only Works With YAMAHA PSR 'S' Series and 'SX' Series Keyboards. It May Not Work In Other Brands Like KORG Or Roland.)
(Note: The Keyboard Used Here was A PSR-S670. Not Mine, But a Friend Has One so I Use that.)
Software You Can Use: FL Studio, MidiEditor, e.t.c, or your Trusted MIDI Software.
      Regards
      Xenial Xerus

Hello L77km771 , the PsrS670 does have have a MIDI connection , you need a USB to MIDI lead to connect it to another device with the standard MIDI connection , if you want to see and hear what a PSR S670 can really do then please have a look at my channel , you will be amazed at the sound this keyboard can make !

    • @HighlandStudio91
      @HighlandStudio91 6 лет назад +5

Your so analog and yet...you clicked on this video, watched it and then commented on it...why did you bother to begin with? This is not a Dave Smith Prophet synth...nor is it a Korg Prologue synth....but rather, the PSR-S670 is a sample-based arranger. If you want analog, there are plenty of softsynth alternatives. If you want Yamaha analog hardware, try the Reface-series.

So what would you suggest,to reveal the full power and capabilities of the S670....make an hour long video?Actually...that's not a bad idea, because there aren't any videos showcasing all of the functionality of the midi sequencer(one feature of which,is a major selling point...in my opinion.)
