Hey guys! In this video I'm going to show you how the login feature works in Glide Apps. This is by far one of the most complicated features to understand, however, it serves as the base to some of the most advanced apps you can build. You can now create 'accounts' for your app users and dynamically change the data that appears on the app pages based on the user that is signed-in!

After creating the account, the "create account" button should stop being seen, I don't find a show if condition. How can it be solved?
If I only want to show the users from the other sheet only with the private information.
(Eg. User 1 can only see story 1, 2 and 3 but User 2 can see 4,5 and 6 which are created by themselves.)

Hi Jiabmsu! It's actually very similar, however, the row owner method is more secure if you want to store and display confidential information.
Great work, although based on vid description I was expecting a vid on how to ID a user and then use that to restrict what pages/tabs the logged in, ID’d user could view/access/edit? Maybe an idea for next video, if it is possible to do this in the app???

Hi. Everytime user sign in with the email, they will get notification email to enter the code? Or will be once only? Because i afraid other people will use the same email and login to the user profile. Pls advise. Thanks.

Hi Arturo! Currently there is no such functionality inside Glide. The idea is that you want to use the filtering options of a page in order to hide every other component except the 'create account' button when the 'Name' column is empty in the spreadsheet, but that will only work on one page of the app.

When I go into setting to change the email setting from Public to Public with email, I only have the text section and the Branding section only. How can I see what you are seeing? Yes, you can use google apps script (for google spread sheet etc.) to add more functions to your app. That's really cool.
Great for internal tools when you don't wanna work too hard.
Hello DImitris, I have another question; How can I customize the componet "create account" that it could be related only to one e-mail, because rigth now I can create many accounts (defferents names) related to one e-mail
The solution to this will once again be the filtering options that I mentioned below. You want to select the button component, go to the features tab and on the filtering options you need to specify that the button will only appear when 'Name' in spreadsheet is empty. Therefore, when the user creates an account and their name gets populated on the spreadsheet row for the email they are signed in with, the 'create account' button will not appear again and they won't be able to create another account with another name. For the user tab, how can you delete the “Create Account” button once the user already created an account? It’s like a one-time account creation. Is there any way to do that?
yes , you can create a visibility feature based and make it invisible if the name of the user is not empty . Then once the account is created , the Create Account button disappears
In settings, sign in option for public and private...is this only available for PRO members?
It's available in the free plan as well

Unfortunately it is not possible to add Google Adsense to a Glide app
The form feature does not work. It creates a new entry but glide picks up the entry which was made first with that user email.
It only works if details are edited using the top right Edit button.
May I know the purpose of the Form Button? Am I missing something?

@@nicolasdominguez4354 You're very welcome! Yes, Glide is the best way I know to create web apps fast without having to write code. You can't create ANY type of app but you can create a lot of apps that are able to perform the CREATE, READ, UPDATE and DELETE data functions.

Hey! I don't think it's possible to send push notifications with Glide apps because they are web-based apps.
@@DimitrisKamaritis Glide gives that SERVICE only on PRO (subscription).
