I agree. I just finished watching the series and was disappointed that a main character( Sid, the gay guy) got so much less of a story line than everyone else.Everyone else had complex stories. Sid got the usual; just dealing with being gay; and oh, yeah; getting into Harvard. So yeah, you can pretty much watch all of his story in one short video.
@@dobdante yea getting tired of shows gay baiting us with a gay character but then not hardly giving them time. Need more shows like Eyewitness where the two guys sexually is just normal but not their primary purpose of being on the show.

@@dobdante Sids whole story isn’t in this video, his relationship with Victor is. He was dealing with much more than ‘just the usual’. If you didn’t catch that, I think you need to watch it again.

You are THE source for what I need to binge next. I hadn't seen anything about this show before your video & just finished watching it. It is INTENSE. I love how Sid & Victor ended up. That "Too bad. It's ruined your whole face" line & how Victor touches his face was such a sweet, perfect romcom moment among all the other dark themes. If there hadn’t been that & the Dominique & John romance, I honestly don't think I could have made it through the first season. Take those trigger warnings to heart if you haven't watched it yet.
Happy ending or do I skip? I made it a rule for me to no longer watch gay movies and shows with a sad ending.

haven't watch it yet but for a 2019/20 show portraying current issues the amount of teasing/bullying (or is it homophobia?) and the bruises on the Indian guy remind us sadly society still has a long way to go

My assault was minor and it’s still difficult for me. We just want to be warned when things that could potentially trigger something like a panic attack could show up. It’s like when movies put flash warnings for people with epilepsy.
