That's my hometown, grew up on Palmetto East. That area where it launched from I used to hunt for crabs back in the 70's when it was undeveloped mangrove.

@@winnieevad1138High rises are anchored to bedrock so it does not matter if the surface is sand and mall. Remember Portmore has the abandoned forum hotel ? Isnt it being redeveloped? Why you say there can't he high rises? It's a myth. The causeway bridge itself is higher than a lot of high rises in Kingston. Did we ever have a problem with the foundation supporting such a long bridge in even water.
