I miss this show so much. I remember as a kid coming home from school and this would be the FIRST show that I would watch. I remember this show like it was yesterday: The show was 1-hour and showed three random Stooge shorts. Leslie Nielsen was the perfect choice to host this show because he was sort of a Stooge himself. It also featured Anna Nicole Smith and Carrot Top. Imagine this was a real school and all you had to do was watch Three Stooges shorts and take tests on them. I would enroll just like that. This show is what made me a Three Stooges fan and I am very happy to be one. They should've put this on DVD and Blu-ray. RIP LESLIE NIELSEN AND THE STOOGES!!! PLEASE DON'T DELETE THIS.
I think Rodney Dangerfield (R.I.P.) would have been a better fit than Leslie N. He was much funnier - and like Curly - he got NO respect from his peers.
Oh my goodness, so much nostalgia! I remember watching this show all the time back when I was little, it was what made me a Stooges fan in the first place! RIP Leslie Nielsen
This imo was the best version of the stooges on TV. They weren't interrupted with commercials, they showed a good amount and variety and Leslie Nielsen was hilarious! I loved with this was on AMC!
I really enjoying watching N.Y.U.K. block when I was in high school. And of course, Leslie Nielsen's funny attics. If I'm lucky, I would take my bubble brain talent to N.Y.U.K. Rest In Peace Leslie & The Three Stooges.
This takes me back to 2001-2002 going to my grandparents, they had a 2nd living room that id stay in when id visit with a couch, a piano, and floor model wood tv and id watch this all the time and then the old cartoons late at night on Cartoon Network. its crazy how a video like this brings even the smell of the time back. Good times thst are long gone
I remember when I was younger and this show was on. I would make sure I woke when I knew it was on and sit in front of the TV and watch the Stooges. I remember when my mom told my grandfather about it, he was stunned. Though I don't know why when he and I used to watch Abbott and Costello and Laurel and Hardy together.
I was in like 3rd-4th grade back when this used to come on AMC. My older brother and I never missed a Stooges episode and would always be motivated to finish our homework before it came on. I sure do miss those days.
My heart ❤ ugh I miss him so much! But what a throw back. I remember as a kid getting excited for this, it meant I get to see Leslie Nielsen and the Three Stooges 😭😭
I miss this show and I miss Leslie Nielsen. I probably had every single lecture and episode recorded on VHS. I hope they're still in good shape since they're still at my parents house and almost 20 years old.
Funny he said something about making a comedy about airplanes. But anyway Professor Nielson i just wanted to tell you good luck we're all counting on you.
Carrot Top performed live at Ashland University (OH) in 1993. I didn't get to go see him live, then. I had a huge homework assignment to do lol. I regret it now.
Leslie Nielsen mentions 'The 3 Stooges', 'WWF SmackDown!', 'The Drew Carey Show' & 'Washington Weekend News' all in the same sentence.; Epic!

I turned to AMC to watch this after Toonami was over.
My dad and I would watch this every weekend before he had to leave for the week trucking across the country. This is what we bonded to. (:

I remember this. Very funny entertaining stuff. Miss the Stooges and Leslie Nielsen.
The Stooges will begin airing on MeTV Saturday June 1st (specifically an hour before "Wonder Woman").
I think Rodney Dangerfield (R.I.P.) would have been a better fit than Leslie N. He was much funnier - and like Curly - he got NO respect from his peers.
Grew up with Stooges but this on AMC showed so many more episodes. It was on after school in early 2000's. Incredible memories.

Leslie Nielsen and the Three Stooges! Awesome combination!
Rodney Dangerfield would have been even better than Leslie, imho.

Man, I can't believe he died....one of the best of all time. What a legend...

I used to watch these every day after school and I was so thrilled!
R.I.P Leslie Nielsen the best comedian in 20th Century
He’s a great host of comedy teacher.
I remember this. the three stooges are the only reason I tuned into AMC.
The Stooges will begin airing on MeTV Saturday nights June 1st (an hour before "Wonder Woman").
Fright Night came out in 1947 not 1948.
I got these tapings, Nielsen is killer here, RIP Leslie Nielsen, he's now with the Stooges in heaven making God laugh.
Well said!
I used to watch this all the time with my grandpa! So great to find this again ☺️
I remember watching these Saturday and Sunday mornings before I would watch cartoons. Good stuff
my childhood! :')
UTU VIS My teenhood.
My heart ❤ ugh I miss him so much! But what a throw back. I remember as a kid getting excited for this, it meant I get to see Leslie Nielsen and the Three Stooges 😭😭
Thank you. This brings back so many happy childhood memories.
I miss this show and I miss Leslie Nielsen. I probably had every single lecture and episode recorded on VHS. I hope they're still in good shape since they're still at my parents house and almost 20 years old.
R.I.P Leslie Nielsen with the Three Stooges and Roberto “Chespirito” Gómez Bolaños. The Comedy never Die.
Holy shit a Leslie Nielsen video I haven't seen
man i remember this back in the day wow seems so long ago
Thank you for posting.
God I miss those days when I was a kid!
Man, TV stations do not go through this much trouble for intro segments before the main show these days!
I loved those days!
Leslie Nielson doing these skits made the Stooges more enjoyable!!!
1:17 - 1:35 Why on earth is that banana so much louder than the bomb?
I used to record these on VHS
I remember this showcase!
Ah ha ha... Grade A!!!
I remember my dad taped these during a New Year's Eve marathon longgg ago
FINALLY. I thought I dreamed this
7:42.; That had to hurt.
Did he ever get a pie in the face in this series?
No
I miss this.
"The Three Stooges" will begin airing on MeTV Saturday June 1st (an hour before "Wonder Woman").
Most of Leslie's forget that he hosted the Stooges on a program!!This is it!!
¿Do you think that the fake apple in the second bumper shown in this video was a reference to tex avery?
Funny he said something about making a comedy about airplanes. But anyway Professor Nielson i just wanted to tell you good luck we're all counting on you.
Fright Night was released in 1947, not '48.
He's not dead!!!!!
Yes he is. Leslie passed on November 28, 2010.
@@middlefinger1565 he is dead forever
did i see a peek of carrottop at 2:39?
Carrot Top performed live at Ashland University (OH) in 1993. I didn't get to go see him live, then. I had a huge homework assignment to do lol. I regret it now.
@@middlefinger1565 Who's Carrot Top?
Leslie Nielsen getting thrown over the handlebars of his bike and getting up the way he did, is something his character, Frank Drebin would do. 😆😆😆😆😆😆
@@kevinmiller6380 Are you serious? You don't know who Carrot Top is?
@@middlefinger1565 No I don't.
Unfortunately you know he IS. In 2010.
Comedy about airplanes. I see what you did there. 🛩
Put this back on AMC.
