    Yay!! A Mars community!! My kids didn’t want to do a commercial for earth. They preferred the sonar activity and the volcanos, storms and craters.

      Yeah my kids were not sure about the ad for earth until I told them they could do a video commercial or any ad form they wanted and then they were all over it.

    We have gotten the notebook journal for the elementary Apologia units, and there's a LOT in there. I need to look at it a little closer...my mom always teaches science under our usual division of classes so it's actually been a long time since I've used Apologia!

    1st time homeschooling. I haven't made a definite decision if we will continue yet,but if we do I would like more curricula that I teach my kids at the same time. Currently 3rd grade,kindergarten, and 2.5 year old. I need to check this out.

    What has been you and your kids favorite Apologia Science unit? This will be our first time using and thinking of using Earth Science. But they all look so good! I have 2 boys, age 8 and 10

    • @LifeintheMundane
      @LifeintheMundane  2 года назад +1

      My kids favorites so far have been chemistry & physics although that one I would suggest waiting a year or so on bc it’s a little more advanced.
      But they also really loved Botany too. We are doing Earth science next year and I am so excited to start it. I think that one would be great for a first book to use bc you get to touch on so many topics.

      In the young explorers series there are no tests or formal assessments. They do give questions for review through out the chapters that you could easy turn into test questions if you wanted too.

  • @PatriziaBella85
    @PatriziaBella85 2 года назад +1

    Is this book meant to be stretched throughout an entire school year or a semester? Also, is it set up to be worked in 5 days per week, or only 3 days per week?

    • @LifeintheMundane
      @LifeintheMundane  2 года назад +1

      It is set up to be read 2-3 times a week and suggested schedule is doing 1 chapter every 2 weeks so with that schedule it will last a whole year.
