This is a really well-made card, and the price is right. Gamers Nexus tore apart a Pulse and found that it had an excellent cooler config. Definitely worthy buying for budget builds!

I got one of these second hand.
I 're-pasted the GPU, put extreme odyssey pads on the backplate, undervolted and got a 17 Day C drop on the hotspot.

Hello , would you say that nitro+ and pulse variants are basically really tight in terms of noise and temperature, or is pulse a bit hotter than nitro+ and a bit more noisy? I am just teared between pulse and nitro+ ( I do love the nitro+ a bit more , but is it worth the 50$ difference)?
The Nitro has a bigger heatsink and 1 extra fan, so it stays much cooler without additional noise. This can help to reduce/eliminate throttling.

It's weird that they recommend 650W.. When I do the math on various wattage calculators, the total comes to ~460W total draw, and the most it ever recommends is a 550 Watt PSU, minimum.
Do they factor in the extra wattage for overclocking?
Yes for overclocking and when booting up or if their is a sudden spike in voltage

PSUs are most efficient at 50% their capacity too, so it makes no sense to recommend something too close to the power draw
Just to be safe. Usually they recommend 20% extra just for safety.
So will a 500W PSU not be enough to power this?

@@Top3Entertainment I have a ryzen 5500 (since it's only about 130 euros here in the netherlands and I just care about gaming performance, not overclocking.) and a gigabyte b550m matx motherboard. Build turned out pretty neat, able to run many of the latest titles at 1440p easily without paying absurd amounts of money. I only payed 530 euro's for my card new which is a steal here in the Netherlands. The rtx 3070's still go for lowest 670 usually above 700. I might still have overpayed a little bit but that doesn't bother me, I'm happy with my purchase.
@@hahaaxd4041 sounds like a good deal to me. Plus the 3070 isn't much better or it's worse in some games too. The 6700xt is a great card
@@Top3Entertainment I totally agree with you. The only thing I would give the 3070 over the 6700 or 6750 xt is better ray tracing. Other than that they have pretty similar performance as long as you are not planning on playing on 4k, the 6700xt gets shattered by the 3070 on that resolution, but no one wants to play on 4k with these cards anyway in my opinion.
@@hahaaxd4041 ray tracing drops frames but the with dlss you can pick them back up but the image quality is reduced but the what's the point lol

Sapphire is a great brand. Their "Pulse" branded cards typically don't cost much more than the most basic models from competing brands, but generally offer much better quality. As long as the price difference isn't too big, they're always worth paying a bit more for.
You should never BLINDLY trust any brand, so looking up independent reviews first is always preferable... But Sapphire is the ONLY brand I know of for videocards which you could kind-of justify just blindly trusting. I haven't known them to make a bad product for well over 10 years. I honestly think that they deserve our support for just not making cheap cards at all. Their most basic models are much better than the most basic models from other brands, and are generally better than a lot of the more mid-tier models from other brands as well, and often for a better price.
I currently have a Sapphire Pulse 6800 XT, which is an awesome card, but I have also just heard and seen nothing but good things about Sapphire cards for years and years. Their fancier models are definitely pricey though, and I would highly recommend just going with their "Pulse" branded models and ignoring all other models, unless you like throwing money around on fancy components I guess.

Guys, can you give me a clue? I bought this card in a quite prominent shop in Hong Kong last week. With all the seals on the box, with the official warranty, etc. The card was smelling like it just out of the factory conveyor. No dust in the radiator, no dirt, everything covered with plastic. When I started it, I put all the settings in the game up to the Ultra with 1920x1080 resolution. The game is quite old (2015) called Rust.
So everything was fine for a couple of minutes but then the fps started jumping from 90 to 45 and all like that. I touched the card radiator and it was as hot as frying pan ready to cook sausages.
What is the problem with the overheating? What to do?
I've heard that these cards are refabed at the factory using those "mining" chips. Can it be the reason?

Try turning up your fans in adrenaline setting or msi afterburner. Leave them on 60 percent and see if your temps get better
as the card held up well and is shapphirre a good manufactured im new to pc

@@Nyudragon if you want slight performance increase or RGB get the ASRock. Sapphire are usually more reliable than other AMD companies but you should be fine
What is the max boost clock for this GPU? I saw Red Devil is 2659 Mhz.
I might have missed it, but how are the noise levels and temperatures?
Noise low and temps range from 61-65

Very similar. Depending on room temps and case you will get 61°c -69°c depending on game

Depends on the games but I would go with the 12100f. My only question is that those are on two different motherboards have you not purchased one yet?

after watching this video. I bought the same pulse 6700xt.i loved the built quality. ive tried it in 2k ultra setting warzone but the pc becomes very hot is it normal i can feel the hot air coming. coz this is my first gpu.
As long as it's blowing the hot air out it's fine

@@bato28game48 the rog I would give a 10/10 and the pulse a 8/10. Honestly for a big price difference it won't be worth it but if you want better aesthetics and lighting and some better cooling

I have an AMD ryzen 7 3800xt. Would my CPU be able to handle this card? I am also looking at the RX 6800 XT 16GB. Is the RX 6700 XT better than GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3060 Gaming OC 12G (REV2.0)?
The gpu would definitely upgrade your gameplay with that cpu . The 6700xt is way better than the 3060

@@alphiebot5099 I understand that but honestly that's up to you if you feel bottlenecked or not. If you buy it and get enough fps then your good. If you feel like you don't get enough then your cpu upgrade would be your next option
Nice video,I have the same gpu,however mine has "bios switch" on the backplate,but no actual BIOS switch, neither in sapphire thrixx.

It's usually about 2 degrees difference per game. I'm my newer videos I started recording temps

I would recommend spending a little extra and getting the nitro or something else but the pulse is a reliable card

Idk if your here in America but it's about a 90 dollar difference. You get better performance, better thermals, I think the card looks better and it has rgb lol

@@Top3Entertainment both cards are in used condition. Sapphire pulse is giving 72° temps on 2K resilution 165fps, is that fine for a 2 fans variant? Room temp is around 20° these days.

Honestly the biggest difference should be which one looks better to me lol. Both will cool pretty good and perform pretty close

@@a.biedermeyer246 for that price difference your pretty much paying for aesthetics. You get a little better cooling, RGB, and a little more performance. But it's up to you if $50 will be worth it for a nicer looking card

Got a deal at 475$ (converted from local currency includes taxes 18%) for 6700XT Pulse. Should I wait or buy? It's the lowest price ever for 6700XT in our market. Asus Dual and Asrock challenger D is 45$ more.
That's a good buy. They're $490 here with tax which isn't a bad deal. I would recommend it if that's the cheapest you have seen

last week i bought sapphire pulse rx 6700xt. with default tuning + performance profile my gpu temperature reaches 80/81 degree. is it normal or my gpu is faulty?
Try turning up your fans in your gpu
if I tune the gpu fan, then the temp can be brought down to 60 degree. but when everything is default, then it reaches 80/81. is my card ok or it's faulty? I am confused. please help me on this.

Since rx 7600 its a little disappointment, i think i would get a RX 6700xt pulse instead. It's the cheapest rx6700xt avaible here and only 5-10% more expensive than rtx 3060 8gb

You should be fine. They support they're GPUs for a long time
@@hamzaaitbendawad3569 After AMD gpus become legacy, there's still avaible modded updates since AMD didnt use closed source driver like Nvidia.
Btw in the past i had and AMD gpu, R9 280, the rebrand of the 7950, a gpu released in jan 2012 and the last official AMD driver was released in April 2020 so basically 8 years, but can further extended with community modded drivers
How to see warranty in amazon? they just say that they will return the product in 30 days, and that's all. Nothing about the profuct

They let your return for pretty much any reason after that if something happens to GPU sapphire would probably have to RMA it

At ultra it averages 40-50 fps at 4k so I would doubt it but it also depends on the game

No but all cards ran pretty cool. Figured people will still buy the card they like anyways and if you have good/ bad airflow in case that will pretty much determine things

@@Top3Entertainment I'm running a 6700XT, which is about the ceiling of where I'd want to be temp-wise. I had heard that the 6800 is a cooler running card, as it isn't clocked to the moon and has 50% (???) more cores.

Three things hold me back.
Its probably too big for my MITX case, although i may be willing to see if i can squeeze it in.
I already have a 3060, so i don't really need an upgrade right now.
And it's technically an overkill for my 1080p gaming setup + it will press my 460 w psu to the max...

I have 5600x prepared with 3600 ram and a nzxt kraken x63 killer, the darkflash simphony tr240 white which can hold the cpu at 4650mhz under 60c in full load... if h510 elite font panel not mounted and under 26c in room :D
I have a 6800xt and can play at ultra settings with high fps. My monitor is 144hz as well

this was way better but you can improve more things specially in scenes were you take too much time focusing on the physical GPU
I figured some people haven't got to buy/ see the card so maybe I'm helping them decide whether it would fit their case
@@Top3Entertainment well, you can say how many milimiters have the GPU that could be a good + , being honest the shortage of GPU has make all AIB patterns a bunch greedys and they are charging 300 to 500 extra vs the MSRP nobody should buy a GPUS that is inflated to that level

@@Top3Entertainment for example there's a Gygabyte version of this GPUS that you review in best buy, now best buy a certification on certain GPUS that they are selling at the MSRP of that custom model "making sure" that is not a scalper prices or miner inflated GPU. The problem? The RX 6700 xt cost 480$, the custom gygabyte? Cost 959$ that's what I'm saying I'm sure yuo have more proves than me because you have different models and the problem even AIB partners want take advantage of the shortage I hope every one that read this avoid the GPUs over the their respective MSRP

Why the asrock one is underperforming compares to all other 6700xt s?

15:09 But there is about 32 to 33 fps difference between Sapphire pulse and Asrock, im currently looking for a 6700xt to buy, so i have 3 option available to purchase, sapphire pulse, Asus Dual and Asrock phantom gaming, The cheapest one available is sapphire, also is it worth spending 50 usd more to get a sapphire pulse 6750xt over 6700xt?
With driver updates it has evened out more. The 6750 has a 5%-10% boost in performance so not to worth it in my opinion
