Thekla has been such a ray of darkness in the Stardom roster for the past year or so! That’s saying something because Stardom’s roster is out of this world.
In Thekla's promotion, Stardom, there aren't that many Americans even if a big one just debuted (Mercedes Moné). It's because it's often difficult for a Gaijin (foreigner) to become well-liked to an audience. Which often leads them to be the villian, but it still often leads bookers to be hesitant in making them the prime star. Best recent example of this is probably Jay White (New-Zealander but same thing tbh). If you want to see Americans in Japan. New Japan Pro Wrestling, especially a specific faction called Bullet Club

I love that Japan loves wrestling and baseball the way we do in the US. It's also amazing that they're accepting international athletes!
They actually love it more in some ways,Wrestling is a art form to them and Baseball has much more popularity in terms of consistent attendance.
