Continue keeping your videos real, the good the bad and the ugly. Love seeing finnys little temper tantrums. they’re going to be such a laugh when he’s older looking back. We’re waiting on our new van due in July so looking forward to getting back out traveling again. If we ever cross paths we’ll gladly play temp grandparents to your little ones while you two have a much deserved break.
You are so amazing to listen to 😂 We are thinking/planning of travelling with the kids in the near future, and you are such an inspiration. Keep these videos coming. You are doing extremely well!
Well you two, if it ain't broke don't try to fix it, you have the most enjoyable camping channel on youtube, stick with what you are incredibly good at, making people laugh. Be yourselves. our favourite memory of Elenya is with the boots and the chainsaw, we've seen other camping channels move into the designer clothes and the jewellry, for gods sake you are on a camping trip around Aus. We love the fact that you two are so unaffected and easy going. Elenya you have the great ability to laugh at yourself, a natural flair that my wife is so jealous of. There are hundreds of channels out there showing you the how-tos and pedalling products for companies, we know it''s all money but pressure as well. Our recommendation guys is stick with what you are doing cos in our view you are the winners in the personality stakes on the camping channels.
Thanks so much for this! We will stick to the bad cooking, boots and having a joke (: we hope the boys enjoy it when they look back on all the adventures we went on (: we really appreciate your support and lovely comments! Thank you!
Excellent honest episode. Not every day is going to be rainbows and unicorns but if you have a general idea of where you want to go and what you want to see; a little planning can go a long way. Our journey wouldn't be half of what it's been so far without Wikicamps. It can be an awesome tool to let you discover locations and points of interest that most people are unaware of. I'm in awe of you, not only are you doing this full time with your three gorgeous boys; but you have the additional stress of filming and editing too. Keep up the great work, it inspires so many people ❤
Hi, as older full time nomads of five years we agree with all the cons and pros your have spoken about. We don’t have kids but fur babies, as we use to show dogs and have them all still with us. We actually tow a dog trailer. I have my little 4 wheel drive and tow the tinny so we drive two vehicles. We travel slow due to our very small budget but wouldn’t have it any other way. People think when they get out on the road that the work disappears, this is not the case, I think the work is more time consuming. Anyway great honest video. Love all your videos. We are fans!!!!Safe travels ❤
Yes, normally we travel quite slow too but lately it’s been abit hectic but looking forward to going back to slow travel and sticking to our budgets 😂 see you out there (:
Probably one of the most honest and valuable RUclips videos I’ve seen. Have zero experience yet but have been doubting the rainbows and butterflies you see portrayed everywhere. Can’t wait to hit the road though 👍
Absolutely love you guys. You keep it real, you show not only the good but the difficult times travelling with kids I think you both do an amazing job and are awesome parents ❤ You keep the boys involved in everything you do and watching them learn to fish or snorkel or even help with your cooking segments is a highlight for me (and Finnys tantrums 😂😂) They are learning more than some kids in school right now and you guys should be super proud of yourselves for giving them that experience 😊 Keep up the fantastic content, you would have to be the best travelling family I have seen on RUclips ❤❤
I just love how you guys keep it so real. I look forward to your weekly episodes as it is so varied - one week it’s adventures the next it’s the kids going nuts. Please keep up the great content and appreciate your honesty. PS keep the cooking segments coming they are gold!
You guys are just so awesome, so down to earth and likeable, I am loving going back through your vids since I subscribed. We recently took delivery of a Jawa off-road hybrid (upgraded from a camper trailer) and will be using your travels as a great guide of places to travel. Watched your vid of your stay at Wee Jasper out of Canberra, we live in Canberra and had never camped there, well that will be our maiden trip in the new van to test everything out in a couple of weeks so thanks so much for such a great vid of the area. Love your work stay safe and enjoy 👍🍻 Cheers Andrew
Thanks Fab Five. Only the two of you this time, no drone and no cooking segment, but excellent ideas, and thanks for all your honest comments that will help a lot of people manage their "small space". Safe travels.🤠
No real surprises here 😊 because I think you do show both the good days and the not so good and the really really not good. I love the variety of your channel, never know what I’m going to see each week. Love that and that’s what keeps me watching 🥰🥰
Love your videos and showing the kids playing in dirt laughing crying and tantrums it is what makes its real. We have all been through it. Keep up the great work we love following your adventures 😊
Hey guys put a swag on top of the van for special times 😂, sort of like a love shack , we live in a confined space to and love it , I couldn’t picture going back to a house
Thanks guys , very informative!😊 Basic Maintenance tips re water tanks ,electricals ,some of the things you look for to avoid breakdowns, sought of prevention better than cure stuff would be great.
Hey guys,,,, just back in Perth and catching up on you're episodes. This vid was so in formative ,,,thanks for again letting us into your amazing lifestyle ❤
Loved this segment and hope it helps the traveling families. Myeife and I had a yacht and sailed for. Years, no walking around the outside toget away from each other, but we were very lucky in that we get along like a house on fire. We had to work as a team as some places around reefs, crossing dangerous river bars our lives depended on each other. Caravanning I have found has different challenges as I will touch on briefly. On a yacht, we made our own water, the sew waste was disposed at sea, solar kept the batteries topped up and sails provided our drive force. BUT no super markets so food was an order for 1 month at least. On a caravan, you have to source water, empty sewerage, but you can go for a walk for your time, super markets and shops are available. In short what we found was that the yacht and caravan had almost exactly the opposite advantages. And my wife and I are face to face almost 24/7 since 2003 when I retired. We hope to catch up on the road one day and catch up with you both and your family. Keep up the great work. P.S. I love Greek cooking from my flying days staying in Athens.
Yes! Love this! A yacht would of definitely brought some challenging times but if you guys make a great team it really help (: might see you out there one day (:
Hey guys glad this has helped. There is no write or wrong caravan so many lifestyles to suit! Hope the hunt goes well for you !! Thanks for watching 👍🤠
Thank you both for the information on traveling, Just keep your beautiful sense of humour because it is so infectious and puts smiles on everyone faces 🦋🌸💖🍷🍷 Have a wonderful week 🐬🦋🐬🎈🎈🎈
Great episode guys, looks like Manangoora Station has left a mark in your lives as I still see you adding those clips and yes I have been there many times.
Thank you for a honest review of your life on the road with 3 boys. You do have your work cut out as we only see 20 minutes of your week on the road. Even then it looks like alot of hard work but you guys are managing. As you said one day at a time. When do you think you will stop travelling because one day that day will come. If it is schooling or just had enough that day will come. But enjoy yourselves and you two are just legends. Safe travels.
Just living in the moment and will decide when the time comes but for now we are super happy travelling around (: yes the road has a lot of challenges but always some amazing times (: thanks for watching (:
Hey guys, we enjoy your content as we're sort of in the same boat with you with a newborn baby. Our baby boy is our second and final child and was born in December '22, which I believe is a month or two after your baby. We don't live on the road full time, but we just did a month long trip from Melbourne to Nhulunbuy and Darwin with our kids. One thing that I think is great to see is that our 5yo girl makes new friends when we stay at Caravan Parks. Nick also mentioned about bad days and also about car maintenance. We had some pretty bad luck with our alternator towards the end of our trip and we were stuck in Kulgera NT for about 4 days waiting for everything to be fixed. It was a pretty bad situation that I wasn't too happy with at the time, but there are ways to turn a bad situation into a good one. Out there in remote places, you can pretty much approach anybody, say hi, and end up having a drink with them (try doing that in Melbourne!). We met a really friendly family with kids one afternoon and our 5yo daughter ended up playing with their 7yo girl right up until bed time. At one stage there was 3 girls playing in a huge puddle of red mud building castles with the sloppy mud. They were doing it for hours and us parents were just standing around, watching and drinking with each other. I reckon it's those memories that stand out. It's all part of the adventure!
Thank you for sharing guys! We are only new to full time travel and this reassured us and made us feel 100 x better. We love the travel life but it definitely has its moments but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We love your content and appreciate your honesty ❤
Congrats on Bub! 💙 yes the travelling families are amazing! We love the caravanning community out there (: one of our faves too (: might see you on the road sometime (:
Love it guys!! Love the transparency! And the genuineness! Yeah full time on the road with kids is NOT a holiday but it’s better than working a 7 day week job! The flexibility is awesome and the opportunities too! I love the fact that you can invest into your family. You guys thought about getting a roof too tent for the 4wd? We’re going to put in on the truck just to give us another room fir time out! 😊
Always love watching you guys🥰You show yourselves getting bogged and the not so glamorous side of vanning which keeps it real👌🏻💯 Great episode🤗loved it. Would love to see Nick fill the van of water in the creek again 🍺🍺🍺🤦🏻♂️hahaha that would make more great viewing
Good to hear the honesty in this video not always peachy times but lots of positives as well you both do a wonderful job and with 3 boys to contend with, hold your head up high and safe travels cheers to you both
Awesome content 👏 keeping it real , with all the challenges , it's not all rosey 😢 the good 😅 the bad 😢 and the ugly 🤨 of traveling You guys are legends 👏 and always watching your episodes 😊Greetings and cheers 🍻 from south africa 🇿🇦
Love you legends and yes went all the way to notch point and at 2am on the first night 60 km winds destroyed my two day old gazebo and it blew for the next two days, but I will be back for that Barra love your vids most best on RUclips cos you are you I’m working so hard to travel oz and you guys keep me heading for it so thanks, Sean and Nugget (my puppy).
👏👏 holy, thank you so much for the reality check on travelling full time. This is differently what some people need to understand. We actually work and get along together better when we are on the road travelling. Can't wait for Feb 2024 when we start our caravan lifestyle around Oz. Hope you catch up on the road somewhere.❤
Yes it’s important to show we reckon (: it’s not always sunshine’s and rainbows (: not long to go before you guys leave 👏 time will fly (: see you out there (:
Great episode guys, I’m with u Elenya, hate fish in caravan fridge/freezer we now cryovac individual size bags for each fishing trip that way there’s none left over stinking out the fridge 👍🏻
New van is hear now for the house not to be here.Oh no Jenny says I won’t be able to put bait in the caravan fridge either like the episode as always you are one of the best 🦐🐟🦈🦐cheers Rod and Jenny
I admire you both as you as just you and also you are honest in your video's to what is good and what is shit. I love how you all dance around and cook and put the funny moments in. I would love to see more bad points as well as that is why i love watching your videos as you put it how it is. Take care.
Great episode guys, I know travelling full time for us without kids we have our good days and bad days. My hat is off to you travelling full time with kids as well!! We just realised we have been in SA for 6 months, and still haven’t seen it all! Life on the road is truly an amazing experience. Perhaps if we ever met up we could baby sit so you can have date night!
Awesome as always. We cant wait to do this and make our own memories. Look you guys are saints traveling with small kids and its always a pleasure to see how happy you all are. Thanx guys for everything. Only disappointment in this episode………..the gourmet cooking section 😂😂😂 Love your work Cheers Johnny and Rene
Thanks guys. That was very interesting. We are only part time retired couple averaging 4-5 months of the year in our 18 ft pop top. Question, do you ever stop in one place for a while and pick up some casual work. Glenn in Bunbury WA.
Hey Nick & Elenya. I’ve been following your travel adventures for a while now and I’m constantly amazed how well you guys manage with three small kids. I have two small girls and they more than keep me and the missus busy - and that’s in a full sized house with all the normal facilities within arms reach. Along similar lines as one or two other comments here, do you think about what the future will look like say, 5 or 10yrs down the track perhaps when your boys need some solid schooling for their own futures? Do you see yourselves going back to the house and 9-5 grind of ‘normal life’ - like most others (including me)?
Hey guys! Great question but honestly we just focus on making of the most of the life we are living right now (: we will work out schooling etc when we get too it (: no point worrying (: however nick and I always say ‘ we don’t know how we are ever going to be able to go back to normal’ - whatever we end up choosing we will make sure we are both happy and of course the kids (:
Love that you guys keep it real❤ Been on the road 6 mths some days are awesome 😁some not so much ☹️but wouldn’t change it !! Would love to know if you have any tips or tricks for keeping food fresh, when remote camping 🏕️ I’ve found bread to be the hardest? But have had some great inspiration from Elenya’s gourmet cooking 🥘💕💕
Hahahah we freeze a lot of bread and have actually started eating ‘thins’ and wraps they last forever (: that’s the biggest tip (: see you guys out there! Safe travels
Good insight into travelling full time… with kids! You did say you look up to couples that homeschool on the road, do you have any plans for when your oldest is 5? Love your videos 😊
Great episode guys! Love your content and how you guys keep it real!! My question is how do you find 3 car seats in maxi? We have a dmax to and it’s a bloody disaster every time we have to put the seats in! Lol so hats off to you guys dealing with 3!
She’s a little squishy - hence why we are unfortunately having to get a new rig as once Ollie turns around in the car seat we won’t be able to fit them all in 🤦♀️😂
We love you guys and can’t wait to start our adventures! My question for you, as a kiwi, how often do you have to deal with snakes, spiders, etc? It terrifies me, but I’m trying to be braver x
Another great video !!!! So, I find it hard to believe that you guys have "flipped your lids". So my challenge to you is to document that in an upcoming video because if there is no evidence, it didn't happen 😜
Hey Nick. Be careful takin the P**s out of Elanya. I have to remember that my wife (also a nurse) can mess with my meds. 😂 Gravel pits, love em. Bait in the freezer, yep, i can't have it there either. "Don't come the raw prawn with me" i tell her. 😂 Happy trails, Glen and Di
oh well, this was interesting - but fairly useless info. I was looking fwd to it after reading the title, but you spoke mainly about relationships and coping in a tiny space. While this is important (to others) - really wasn't useful for me. I am going to travel solo next year and I was looking for tips/tricks especially the "truth behind travelling fulltime" ... But I did appreciate the honesty!
How do you cover your cost of travelling and the things that you do if you don’t work? Surely you don’t make enough money from RUclips to cover all your expenses 🤷🏼♂️. I really like your videos there entertaining 👌👏👏
Hi Nick and Elenya, you do a wonderful job. It is much harder than it looks. I think its great you show it exactly as it is. Its refreshing and honest. ❤🇦🇺🦘
Continue keeping your videos real, the good the bad and the ugly. Love seeing finnys little temper tantrums. they’re going to be such a laugh when he’s older looking back.

I admire you both as you as just you and also you are honest in your video's to what is good and what is shit. I love how you all dance around and cook and put the funny moments in. I would love to see more bad points as well as that is why i love watching your videos as you put it how it is. Take care.
Thanks so much! So nice to hear you enjoy the episodes (:
Great episode guys, I know travelling full time for us without kids we have our good days and bad days. My hat is off to you travelling full time with kids as well!! We just realised we have been in SA for 6 months, and still haven’t seen it all! Life on the road is truly an amazing experience. Perhaps if we ever met up we could baby sit so you can have date night!
Sooooo much too see! We will be going back for sure (: see you guys out there! Safe travels (:
Awesome as always. We cant wait to do this and make our own memories.
Look you guys are saints traveling with small kids and its always a pleasure to see how happy you all are.
Thanx guys for everything.
Only disappointment in this episode………..the gourmet cooking section 😂😂😂
Love your work
Cheers
Johnny and Rene
Thanks Johnny! It makes it very interesting with kids that’s for sure haha (:
Thanks for watching! (:
Thanks guys. That was very interesting. We are only part time retired couple averaging 4-5 months of the year in our 18 ft pop top. Question, do you ever stop in one place for a while and pick up some casual work. Glenn in Bunbury WA.
Yes we work when we need too - the longest we have done is 3 months working (: see you out there (:
Tip for your bait… salt your bait with pool salt for 24 hours, it will keep it for days and it won’t smell …love seeing you guys keeping it real …
What a great idea (: thanks for that 🤙🤠
Love that you guys keep it real❤ Been on the road 6 mths some days are awesome 😁some not so much ☹️but wouldn’t change it !!
There should have been some Drake’s Supermarkets open in SA as it’s a SA based company and nearly all the stores there trade 7 days a week 👍
Yeah where we were there wasn’t one (: thank you for watching (:
Good insight into travelling full time… with kids! You did say you look up to couples that homeschool on the road, do you have any plans for when your oldest is 5?
Love your videos 😊
We are planning to homeschool for a little bit (: but we try not to plan anything too far in advance as things always change (:
Loved it!
Thanks for watching (:
Great episode guys! Love your content and how you guys keep it real!! My question is how do you find 3 car seats in maxi? We have a dmax to and it’s a bloody disaster every time we have to put the seats in! Lol so hats off to you guys dealing with 3!
She’s a little squishy - hence why we are unfortunately having to get a new rig as once Ollie turns around in the car seat we won’t be able to fit them all in 🤦♀️😂
Great honesty guys. Do you think you will stop when the boys need to go to school? Do you pick up work as you travel? Keep up the great videos.
Yes we will pick up work when we need too (: and we are hoping to homeschool for a little bit (:
We love you guys and can’t wait to start our adventures!
My question for you, as a kiwi, how often do you have to deal with snakes, spiders, etc?
It terrifies me, but I’m trying to be braver x
Such an awesome lifestyle (: you see them but not often, they are more scared of us humans (: 😂
Loved this episode, for people looking at wanting to do the same, how do you manage financially? Do you need a nest egg to fall back on?
You just make it work (: we had a little bit of savings and we work when we need too (: the key is budget (:
Sounds like you need a bait freezer in the back of the truck. You definitely need bait, otherwise you'll never have fresh squid. 👍
ill have to work on Elenya!! thanks for watching
Can you add the “thanks” icon ?
Will see how to do that (: thanks for watching (:
Another great video !!!! So, I find it hard to believe that you guys have "flipped your lids". So my challenge to you is to document that in an upcoming video because if there is no evidence, it didn't happen 😜
We will attempt to get it on camera 😂 we definitely have our days where we flip our lid 😂 thanks for your support! (:
What would help would to say what month the is when you are at the time of the video
Thanks for the feedback (:
So true the whole ep… and we are with 2 teens and a dog 😂
So glad you guys can relate (:
So how do you make money. We dont see many endorsed product's from you guys ???
Don’t have time for that 😂 we just work when we need too and we are lucky to get a little bit from RUclips (:
😂😂😂😂 can’t trust those nurses 😂 thanks for watching (:
❤u guys so much ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍👍🇦🇺🍺⚙️😘😘
Thanks so much! 🙌
jeje je si es verdad la vida se parece mas a la vida que a las publicidades de red bull o martini
Hahaha thanks for watching 🤠
oh well, this was interesting - but fairly useless info.
Thanks for watching! (: sorry it didn’t help you out however we are a travelling family so can’t relate to solo travelling! Safe travels (:
Learn to meditate,it helps.
Yeah might have too(: thanks for watching
How do you cover your cost of travelling and the things that you do if you don’t work? Surely you don’t make enough money from RUclips to cover all your expenses 🤷🏼♂️. I really like your videos there entertaining 👌👏👏
No unfortunately RUclips doesn’t pay for our travels but the small amount does help a little (: we work when we need too (:
🇿🇦♥️♥️💙💙💙
Thanks for watching (:
partners lol
death buy pans
Thanks for watching 🤠
so more kids ?
😂😂😂 no way! 3 boys is plenty to attempt to keep up with (:
Hi Nick and Elenya, you do a wonderful job. It is much harder than it looks. I think its great you show it exactly as it is. Its refreshing and honest. ❤🇦🇺🦘
Thank you Gail! Appreciate your support (:
