I can listen to this gal all day.. because of her mellow voice. Plus she exudes that aura of grace and humility despite the challenges she went through. May God repay your 'lost' days
This girl's destiny is sure. Umepitia dada na venye uko mremboo you sooo beautiful take heart please try n forgive your Mum. N God will heal you completely
What a painful story....What the devil meant for ill...The Lord has turned around giving Wanja determination to soar.....Very brilliant and brainy woman....
This gal has so much grace even from the way she talks one can see alot of humility ❤ she's still like a child so loving and forgiving, exactly how God wants us to be.
Very sad story. Reminds of a very similar one where a woman dumped twins in a garbage pit for a Mzungu who never married her. Later, one gal looked for her across boarders, and took care of her until her death. Listening to Wanja reminds me of her mother as the Ostrich God has talked about in Job 39:13-17. But am still wondering what kind of curse this is, everyone rejected her while growing up? Wanja, No weapon formed against shall prosper. May God's love embrace you always.
Thank you to the step dad, the one who paid her KCPE, the one who took her in, the lady who took her brother and her shosho. May your cup of blessings never stop overflowing. Even the teacher who was accused of sleeping with her for taking her to school may God bless. Gal you are strong. My mom was tossed from family to family but non took her to school and it was only 20/- they used her as their housemaid and rn non of their kids are successful now. God is always there for the motherless❤
Wanja is so intelligent and peaceful. Even after all the rejection and hatred from her own blood, she still has so much love. May the Lord repay you girl.
Pole my fellow Othaya girl. Tegemea Mungu Baba, atakusaidia. Those who reject you , reject them back! Let nobody guilt trip you here with forgiveness. It is a long slow process and at one's own pace. Bless those who helped you and your brother. Si kufurahia and i know it hurts the child most ,but most deadbeats die early because God doesnt allow them to eat the children's wealth, whom they didnt bring up. Na hawa watu who keep chasing these children who have nobody , Mungu anawaona. Its no wonder God will never hear some of your prayers hasa kuhusu magojwa because you didnt listen to the cry of the poor( per Matthew 25;40)
Wanja is definition of big heart... how she fought all those battles as a child and worn each and every one of them is just beyond mind boggling 😢😢 yes she has forgiven those despicable humans but she's still hurting.. would suggest she seek some counseling.. hugs 🫂 kairitu.
We would want to hear from Muriithi. Wanja I listened your story 2016 and I really cried cried about it but I thank God when I see Hod working in your life.
I went through the same thing , rejected by parents when they separated..the worst thing is that people won't understand your pain ,ati mzazi ni mzazi ,when you succeed in life , suddenly they appear no apology as If they did nothing to you.
Usikubali. First tell them what you feel and they apologise. utaona vile watarudi chini kama reli. else God kills deadbeats early, ila hii si maombi kwao coz i know the child hurts most when they die without closure
Wanja's story can be turned into book. Perhaps the father should explain the source of the hatred towards her. It would explain the underlying cause of the hatred towards your own child which is very strange. All those people who played a positive role should be acknowledged, the grandmother, Milka, the teachers, the lady who gave her 500 for kcpe, the step father in Meru who did not become a beast when she was very vulnerable after running away from Tigania
Wanja did not need to go through all this, it was too painful but you are very resilient and have emerged victorious. Now that I think about it, there several cases where people abandon their children I personally know of one or two relatives. And what I have learned through this story - we have a responsibility to help. I think what happened to Wanja and other similar cases, shows lack of empathy and selfishness using the excuse - it is not my problem (eku nyina wao?), yet they can very well see the child has been abandoned, the question we should ask ourselves is, if you are not helping, who do you expect to help? It is hard, and it requires one to sacrifice, but we must aim to do something, help even if it is for a day. If you listen to Wanja, she could have used a meal even for one day to keep her going. Let us all endeavor to be kinder to fellow human beings, especially children, it does not matter that their mothers or fathers are somewhere drinking or having a good time, help the child if they need it. It is a big indictment to our society that Wanja could have been suffering as much as she has described, as a tiny child and people saw this and chose to look the other way. It is truly shameful. All the best to her.
These scapegoating abuse ...or narcissistic abuse...I have gone through it ...am in therapy at 48 to go through healing...its a unique abuse...that exists from family...intergenerational...am glad we are coming out!there is healing but a long process....its deeper than we hear....am happy to be of help to her.....
Everything works for Good to those who love God and are called according to his purpose....God called you for a purpose, your music will touch many souls, Always praise him and glorify His Name.
Wanja am so sorry for what you went through. Forgiving those who did hurt you is the best decision you made so you can receive your blessings. You went all the hurts and sufferings because GOD has great things ahead of you.
I really feel for wanja. But our God is so wonderful that she is smiling and laughing after all the pains. My sister God will take you places. For murii please never forget your lovely sister.
I went through this episode but it was my sister. She mistreated me to the end of finding a woman to employ me as household. I run away and used to stay from one place to the other looking for odd farm jobs to do so I can pay my school. I was still a primary school kid.Let God be God he pays every evil for good because I got good parents whom adopted me from nowhere and I was able to go to secondary school. And the rest is history because I am now a citizen in USA and I forgave them and I helped whenever I could. I feel the pain wanja went through. We do evil not knowing what the destiny holds for us and it turns back to us.I am a testimony of this evil act but God saved me
May the Name of the Lord b glorified for protecting this great woman of God, chances of being molested was very high but God..!!. Wanja u have a destiny, u have a ministry that why God preserved u. Serve him. Very sad story 😢
That spirit of persecution and rejection was too much 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 and it all started when your mother chose to go with you when you were 6 years old. She was the one with that spirit and the one that made the spirit rest on you. May God remember you and BLESS you in a special way, with every blessing that you desire. For every pain you went through, may He give you a reason to laugh and rejoice. May God give you all the blessings of Abraham. In Jesus mighty name. Amen!
This is the saddest story I have listened to 😢😢😢 Nimelia yangu yote Pole sana Wanja Thanks to Cucu ,ua sis friend,n milka ,ata ule step father wa meru hakuwa mbaya I thank God for the person you have become

Sad.... very sad... I live in Meru and I am familiar with the places and forests she is talking about. I just didn't know that such evil was happening in my backyard...
This girl is so fine and a blessed woman of God, she is beautiful in and out, smart, wise, humble, graceful, eloquent, a gem. May blessings continue to locate you, follow you and overtake you.

So much love wanja maybe heal you,, God give you peace of mind.. Your zeal for life gave you strength to move on.. Your story is so painful it's like l'm reading a novel
I listened to her story some years ago, she didn't cry much then, she wished her mom would agree to talk then, that would have brought some healing. She is very emotional now because that did not happen, it was so painful. I have a girl whose mother disappears without warning leaving her alone. Another i met in primary school tells a terrible story about her mothers abuse. I started telling girls to speak out, yell and fight for help.
You are a strong young woman. God has really been there for you. Just keep thinking Him . Not many of us can manage what you went through. God is happy with your good and forgiving heart. You are unique. Forgiving your mother after all that is more than preaching 100yrs. It's big. God bless you always.
Wow how she grew up it can only be God,for sure ur a child of God he protects you frm every evil, all your child hood despite you didn't have anyone to look after you God was with you,no one rapes you n for those who thinks to do that God protects you frm them
