It was very touch both of their hearts, a legend became a reality that's unusual, my opinion is for 100 percent sure that the story were truth we need to see scientific prove such as DNA of the mother.

When Vamneeb Muas tells the story of his past growing up with his mother sounds genuine but when Nkauj Kuab Vaj tells her side of the story it sounds unreliable. She's too young and does not have experience telling story.
It really doesn't matter whether this story is real or fake, there are other living proofs that this kind of stories do exist. I don't think the story is necessarily fake. It's true that both are telling their story independently, but you have to understand that the girl is still young. I feel that she is just shy that's why she didn't say much. She also has a bit of a language barrier just like any other Hmong America kids her age; it takes her a while to reply back in Hmong. I do wish that she would have gone more into details, but because Wam Neeb is consider an elder, he likes to go in details. I was a bit lost.

There is no DNA/scientific proof needed because this is related to God, not science. I don't think the story is necessarily fake. It's true that both are telling their story independently, but you have to understand that the girl is still young. I feel that she is just shy that's why she didn't say much. She also has a bit of a language barrier just like any other Hmong America kids her age; it takes her a while to reply back in Hmong. I do wish that she would have gone more into details, but because Wam Neeb is consider an elder, he likes to go in details. I was a bit lost.

I don't believe in this story 100% but I do believe it to some point. The reason why she can't tell the whole story is because she is still young and don't know to speak Hmong enough. I don't see why there is a reason to lie, it's not like they will get pay for anything. Thanks to 3HmongTV for broadcasting for story like this. I want to believe it, but its hard to believe. In part one, the "mom"(nkauj kuab) says her mom was mistaking her dreams with her "dab neeg"/teacher but in this interview the mom says she only developed the 6th sense after meeting her "Son". So i dont know? I think shes not the mom, but simply a shaman-woman with the message of his real mom about her love for him.

Sad that you believe it this way. You have every right to believe and say what you want. Personally, I understand what she can say and what she can't say. If you listen carefully, you can fill in what she doesn't say. I don't believe they both aren't doing this just for money or fame. Things like this happens all over the world but many great things and secrets like this goes uncover. You never know what these people go through until you go through it yourself. :)
Might not be fake but poor planning on 3Hmongtv part. 3hmongtv didnt go into detail how they come about this movie and they didnt explain to us audience weather or not the real mom was there in the studio when they interview waneng and his mom. Also they need to interview the girl real brother and see what their opinion on this whole story. If everything corroborate then indeed is true. I am 65 percent sure there are so true to their story.

Interesting story but I need more evidences to be convinced. Rather than telling the stories infront of each other, maybe interview the girl by herself and then have Vam Neeb and his siblings verified if the stories are true in a separate interview.
I think that this story is not suppose to be told so that you people can judge whether it was true or fake and whether you believe it or not. I think this story was out only to share that it happened so ppl can be aware that there is such story like this. Ppl are so eager to point fingers and be negative about this then don't waist your time watching it. Vam Neeb told most of the story only because the girl is too young to know to speak enough Hmong to tell the story so ppl can understand.
I know the "mother"/Nkauj Kuab personally. I can say it's fake, but I can say it's real. I've heard many stories of her family and household. I won't judge but when We were younger, she never mention things like this. I also agree that if they weren't interviewed together, both stories would have been different. There is no DNA/scientific proof needed because this is related to God, not science. Here's my synapse: She died, went to heaven, but didn't drink the waters of forgetfulness, as a result when she reincarnated into her new body, her soul was able to remember her past.
