The test centre out in pease pottage is a real pain. I failed my test on the interchange up there. Sure you could argue that it's a good test for a drivers safety but starting of somewhere a little easier to navigate would take alot of the stress out of the exam.
Yes it does make for quite a nervy start, don't know the stats, but sure quite a large majority of people fail within the first few minutes due to the roundabout.
I have an 8am Friday. My instructor thinks it a sound idea to do 40 hours of 10am lessons only for a test during rush hour. Whataguy. This is just a great video pal.

During covid times when you failed you’d go straight back to the test centre but now you continue the full length of the test the same as prior to covid, even if you’ve failed.
She has great control of her car and can clearly drive. She'll pass second attempt if she stays a little more focused and possibly gets a nicer, non rush hour morning slot which will give a little more room for mistakes.
tbh the rush hour slot did not effect things here, both the serious faults would have still been serious faults no matter the time of day or traffic, as on both event traffic was no effected, it was just poor positioning / lane choice.
I have my test in Crawley in around 2 weeks at 8am so this video is very helpful as my lessons are usually around 10/11am Do you have any other videos of tests around 8am please?
Difficult to say for sure as there are several routes you could be taken on. But they will generally try to avoid school areas so you don't get stuck in a big traffic queue, tbh quite surprised Oksana did this route as there was a big queue at the roundabout.
