If you mix a cup of white vinegar and 2 cups of water, and soak the inside of your tea kettle overnight, you’ll be able to get the hard water and Calcium deposits out of it. White vinegar is pretty effective at loosening those types of deposit’s. Loved everything.
I think that brass item may have been the insides of an angel chime. It has candles, and the heat makes the angels go around and make a little chimes not 100% sure.

The brass piece is an oil lamp. The top hold the oil , not sure about the holes.

The brass thing is a traditional Indian brass oil lamp - called a “ Vilakku” !! You pour oil on the top part and use a wick to light it up
