Ben Taylor is arguably the best Basketball analysis. Accounts for everything; Era, bias, teammates you played with, and uses advanced stats to find the true value of players.
NBA finally little by little encouraging real analysis by analysts rather than debates on narratives by journalists. It's great that one of my favorite analysts Ben Taylor is getting his recognition.
Most people choose 2016 Steph as his peak. I'd argue his best form was his 2022 version. Better finisher, higher basketball IQ, stronger body, way more clutch. But with the same shooting, if not better.
I agree with all of those things, but part of the reason steph was so good in 2016 is because the league itself wasn't ready for his radical approach. And so although he's improved in all these areas (maybe he's a step slower), his value relative to the league has diminished - simply because the league has somewhat caught up with him and the warriors. I do think if you dropped the current version of steph in 2016 he would be even more insane.
Nah, in 2021 he was even better, but Lebron and Ja beat him in the play in … That’s the year he won scoring title with a career high 32ppg, and his efficiency was way better than 2022. So yeah we couldn’t see him in the playoffs, but in the regular season he was on fire, even this season he was incredibly good, if it wasn’t for the Lakers elite defense and Klay+Wiggins ect not being able to make their 3’s i think he could have won another title, he is 35 and still incredibly good, just as good as Lebron when he was 35 imo, and im a Lebron fan but i will sa, if Curry never had these ankles problems that caused a late start to his career, he could’ve had a crazy longevity just like Lebron
@@Anthonydu016302021 is just 2022 Curry but forced to score 40 a night. Klay was still injured and he had no reliable scorers around, so he knew he had to step up. In 2022 Klay cameback, Poole was better and the team was a lot more well-rounded.
What is amazing about Steph is that he continues to improve his craft. He transformed from being the weak link in defense to not being so anymore and also got strong enough to bump off bigger defenders to get his shots. His much improved stamina is causing defenders to tire out and this year he has been working on controlling his breathing. How many superstars invest that much work into getting better?
