My high school sweetheart girl .broke with me after I told her that I wanted to start a farm business.or be a farmer..she rejected me and went to university .dont know what happened but now she lives on Sugardaddies ..me my farm is doing great and married a cow_girl. .

Arrogance is a big one. I had a educated person work for me recently and I had to fire him because of arrogance. He was a friend of mine. I was paying him to much & I needed more than one guy to work for me so I had to let him go. He is always right and never wrong in his mind. He was very educated and smart but not a business person.

These videos are excellent. Thank you. I went to college in the 1960s and got a BS degree with a major in mathematics. I was too idealistic. I simply wanted to learn; to learn history; how computers worked (this was the punch card era); how the great writers thought. I couldn't teach at public schools with that degree, but got to teach at a parochial (Catholic) school in Boston, then spent four years working my way around the world (Africa and Asia) as a teacher. Never made big $$$. Now am looking at being a freelance writer.
I was highy educated...approved to come to Australia by Aussie embassy...with all conditions and qualifications and all family pass medical... When I arrive here Labor department refuse to issue a Tradesman Certificate in English I had 1 in my language...so I was approved to come to Australia between thousands of candidates...well when I arrive here Labour dep.told me Australia got different states with different laws.. I said well I was approved to come to Australia.. I had 20 years on automotive trade 1st class. Months later Labour Sep.President told the press: After 12 months training apprentices they're ready to work in any gov.department

I was admitted at University,during my all 4 year academic I was doing doing a part time studying because of financial difficulties supporting from family.I started working as a casual worker in many companies till the 4th year of my academic year. I got my qualifications,but I fail to get job for my qualifications,But through the testimonials that I received from different Companies that I used to work while studying,They helped me to get Job because of experience but not because of the qualification.
The main reason a person with a high degree and yet still poor is...they don’t steal, they’re very rich in dignity. And they choose dignity over ill wealth.

A students are good employees - they take the task dead serious... like it is the end of the world if they get a less grade... and, that is probably the reason they don't create wealth, while C and D students are building network - are working at fast food restaurants or practicing a new work every single semester so they create wealth beyond the formal education system. I'd never claimed that you shouldn't know how to read, write and calculate.... because, you do need to know... But, what is more important is to know how to sell, negotiate, know how to do research, etc. and yes research is all you do in school all the time - but, practicing selling and negotiation which is the bed rock of creating wealth that can be only accomplished through working experiences.
You will need a high level of creativity to make more money than you think. Come up with an idea, work on the idea, advertise the finished products, let it begin to solve people's problems jobs will come looking for you. If you really mean it,please get a class to polish your "self taught knowledge,culture and thinking" so that you become a real engineer!! For your info. The 21 st century engineering is very far from science! You can't be working like Galileo with dozens of experiments and still deliver and engineering project.Get someone to advise you well

I told a lady who is a lawyer this very same thing. She keeps stressing how many degrees she has, but I asked her how many of her degrees are paid off in full. She got quite. I don't get in any serious relationship with women with high dept.
It honestly depend on her spending habits, like doctors. If you go $300,000 in debt and start at $75,000 it looks crazy but by year 3 or 4 she could easily be make $400,000. Those type of jobs pay themselves off and help establish credit
I did not finish high school or get a degree. I own everything I have including my house, make piles of money and own few liabilities. I've hired people with degrees, I feel bad they got in such a deep debt. Money can be made a million ways, a degree is never required to make lot's of money. A degree is a launch pad for certain practices of life of which the earnings will be based on experience ultimately. I always tell people, if you are going to school, pursue who you are, not what pays the most.
This was exactly the case with a friend of mine from college. He was a top student at UCLA in the mid ‘70’s but was never able to replicate that success in his working career. As such, he flitted about trying to find a job that suited him but was never successful. He was most comfortable in an academic environment and in hindsight he probably would have been better off working at a university as a professor or an administrator.
I've been working in higher education for more than 10 years. I work for TRIO Higher Education Access Programs - Educational Opportunity Center now for more than 5 years. I also taught as an adjunct previously for more than 4 years. I've only had two 1% raises since I have been on my current job with a total salary of a measly $36,720 per year. I refuse to work hard on the job because I am always dreaming of creating wealth. Currently, I am writing a business plan, doing credit repair, and obtaining business credit with hopes of leaving higher education and the employee rat race for good to start my own business and invest!
So you'll go to school for fun sake or to be happy that you went to school? All that money paid during school ...what do you want out of it? Prestige? School itself isn't free. Think about it.. can't pay for something and gain nothing out of it.

Education makes you rich (in different ways). Well, I do not know what you understand by being educated or being rich. The point is that if you choose academia as a life style, that makes you rich. If you decide not going to university, you can also become rich (in both ways: money and joy). I am currently doing my PhD and I feel I'm making all my dreams possible. I would not recommend to attend a university you can't afford, so by the end of your studies you'll be slave to the banks for the next 10 years. Whatever you choose: academia or business, that's a decision you'd take in the basis of being happy.
@msc14111990 BS.. It's possible when a PHD has an entrepreneurial mindset. If he knows how to communicate, sell & market then he can make lots of money.
I am a teacher but I appreciate this learning. It is good to be educated at one time while it would not be so frustrating if you failed to meet this normal expectation for other reasons :-) good thing that there are options and guide such as this video. It is not devaluing education because at one point we need one another's expertise to keep the world rolling rather I find this enhancing :-) you can enjoy a job and be your best at it while executing new ideas such as investing, avoiding too much debts, humility as character, be surrounded with people who can empower etc. Life is what we make it. Be grateful always and acknowledge there is God who provides wisdom such as this.
Because education’s purpose is not to provide you with big revenues in future, its more about making you useful for society. The money issues you learn by yourself through life experience.

I think that education, training, and further studies are important; to me. For somebody who has plenty of inner confidence, or is inner-directed, he or she almost always takes the right direction; and they can become very successful. Therefore, additional training, or further studies may not be so important, but I believe that it is important to have at least high school, and if possible a couple of years of college studies.
Well I am one of those highly "educated" people who you are referring to...... and I ENJOY my lifestyle..... and I ENJOY spending lots of my time in my classroom, helping my students to understand difficult concepts in ELECTRONICS (a field that has made it possible for all internet bozos "to get rich")..... it does not bother me in the slightest that I would be considered 'poor' by your standards (or anybody else's standards for that matter). The world NEEDS Engineers and Scientists to prop up the lifestyle that rich people love to flaunt ....... so instead of branding education as "useless" just because you managed to get rich without it..... and as I have said elsewhere, realize that you will one day NEED a Doctor to take care of whatever medical condition threatens your life (and as you get older it will be a CERTAINTY that you will need one at some point) Again ..... do NOT take the "YOU" personally...... I told a lady who is a lawyer this very same thing. She keeps stressing how many degrees she has, but I asked her how many of her degrees are paid off in full. She got quite. I don't get in any serious relationship with women with high dept.
It honestly depend on her spending habits, like doctors. If you go $300,000 in debt and start at $75,000 it looks crazy but by year 3 or 4 she could easily be make $400,000. Those type of jobs pay themselves off and help establish credit

I did not finish high school or get a degree. I own everything I have including my house, make piles of money and own few liabilities. I've hired people with degrees, I feel bad they got in such a deep debt. Money can be made a million ways, a degree is never required to make lot's of money. A degree is a launch pad for certain practices of life of which the earnings will be based on experience ultimately. I always tell people, if you are going to school, pursue who you are, not what pays the most.

This was exactly the case with a friend of mine from college. He was a top student at UCLA in the mid ‘70’s but was never able to replicate that success in his working career. As such, he flitted about trying to find a job that suited him but was never successful. He was most comfortable in an academic environment and in hindsight he probably would have been better off working at a university as a professor or an administrator.

I've been working in higher education for more than 10 years. I work for TRIO Higher Education Access Programs - Educational Opportunity Center now for more than 5 years. I also taught as an adjunct previously for more than 4 years. I've only had two 1% raises since I have been on my current job with a total salary of a measly $36,720 per year. I refuse to work hard on the job because I am always dreaming of creating wealth. Currently, I am writing a business plan, doing credit repair, and obtaining business credit with hopes of leaving higher education and the employee rat race for good to start my own business and invest!

Because once an individual reaches a certain level of enlightenment, he or she realizes that money isn’t the only source of wealth, or is it the most important indicator of success.
Education makes you rich (in different ways). Well, I do not know what you understand by being educated or being rich. The point is that if you choose academia as a life style, that makes you rich. If you decide not going to university, you can also become rich (in both ways: money and joy). I am currently doing my PhD and I feel I'm making all my dreams possible. I would not recommend to attend a university you can't afford, so by the end of your studies you'll be slave to the banks for the next 10 years. Whatever you choose: academia or business, that's a decision you'd take in the basis of being happy.
The difference is the things that you spent time on.. With money, you can buy freedom & time.

I am a teacher but I appreciate this learning. It is good to be educated at one time while it would not be so frustrating if you failed to meet this normal expectation for other reasons :-) good thing that there are options and guide such as this video. It is not devaluing education because at one point we need one another's expertise to keep the world rolling rather I find this enhancing :-) you can enjoy a job and be your best at it while executing new ideas such as investing, avoiding too much debts, humility as character, be surrounded with people who can empower etc. Life is what we make it. Be grateful always and acknowledge there is God who provides wisdom such as this.
Because education’s purpose is not to provide you with big revenues in future, its more about making you useful for society. The money issues you learn by yourself through life experience.

Military service is what gave me an edge. As a retiree I receive retirement pay and am working to turn it into wealth, my goal is to become wealthy within the next 15 years.
But we need education, otherwise we won't have lawyers, specialist Doctors, engineers who design technology, coolese can't be done by college dropouts, while others can succeed without education, we need educated people for critical jobs

I think that education, training, and further studies are important; to me. For somebody who has plenty of inner confidence, or is inner-directed, he or she almost always takes the right direction; and they can become very successful. Therefore, additional training, or further studies may not be so important, but I believe that it is important to have at least high school, and if possible a couple of years of college studies.

Well I am one of those highly "educated" people who you are referring to...... and I ENJOY my lifestyle..... and I ENJOY spending lots of my time in my classroom, helping my students to understand difficult concepts in ELECTRONICS (a field that has made it possible for all internet bozos "to get rich")..... it does not bother me in the slightest that I would be considered 'poor' by your standards (or anybody else's standards for that matter).
The world NEEDS Engineers and Scientists to prop up the lifestyle that rich people love to flaunt ....... so instead of branding education as "useless" just because you managed to get rich without it..... and as I have said elsewhere, realize that you will one day NEED a Doctor to take care of whatever medical condition threatens your life (and as you get older it will be a CERTAINTY that you will need one at some point)
Again ..... do NOT take the "YOU" personally...... I just have a particular peeve against those that think they are better than everybody else .... simply because they have acquired "millions of dollars".......
