Yeah I love jimmy aswell one of my 3 favourite of all time him , the rocket and the late great hurricane, still gutted to this day that jimmy never lifted the world title 😢 but done everything else in the game a British sporting legend total ICON 💙
i met Jimmy at an airport once he noticed me talking about him to my young daughter who had no idea who he was. He came over and chatted no edge to the guy
Not so much the "whirlwind" now, more of a strong Greece, but he can still play snooker and is still my all time favorite player....Well done Jimmy, long may you chalk that cue!
I'm glad to see Jimmy on Tv again. He seems like a lovely man and that's probably a largely why he still has such a strong fanbase. Everyone seems to be getting a little carried away with his recent decent form, but, imo, his best game would not get him anywhere near a title. The game has evolved so much that those past greats, even with their best form would probably not win anything. They are still legends and very relevant. They, inc Jimmy, have my respect because they moved they game along. I'm just calling it as I see it.
He's skint. He's drank and sniffed any money he earned during his main career. Jimmy now is generally regarded as tragic. Trying desperately to win at tournaments against guys a third of his age to try and recoup the money he squandered. I loved him back in the day but he is not a player to be admired.
Yeah i know..if you look at his 80s 90s mullet rug...ironically so much better..There has got to be a better one out there..i suppose he's got to stick with it now,it does him no favours.
He had a really weird experimental hair transplant one of the transplants where they cut a big chunk out of their scalp he had it years ago and ever since his head shape and hair have looked like something crawled up and died lol , he has also had cancer which then affected the transplant , I think he has very bad scars on his head and that's the reason he wears whatever this is .
Last time I met Jimmy, he dragged me in the bookies, convinced he had a winner (as always) but man, he can't pick his nose let alone a horse. I did ok, he didn't LOL
Wake up and smell the coffee, Jimmy has had his day, and despite his regular practices, he cannot hold a candle to modern players, he's just there for the money as you all know..

Not sure, in my opinion alot of the players on tour respect him, amazing player in his prime. He never going to win anything again but if he still loves plaging then fair play to him. I dont think he needs the money as im sure his net worth is well over 5 million
It looked like a fixed match for me, those misses from Jack are not natural. Reactions afterwards neither. We all know what happened with few of chinese players lately, we shod see in few years what was happening here
As the greatest snooker commentator and analyst not on TV - I can conclude or i did readily that was never a free ball. Also, the attempted pool shot by JL with red onto pink trying to get a decent white, perhaps behind the black was to me bizarre to say the least. Finally, the second frame specifically was an opportunity to make a lay man or woman a big chunk of money via betting in running - if that is even permitted. I fancied White to take that frame and yet at times he would have had decent odds in running. To make money with snooker betting in running you need three primary necessities: First - you need stake money. Two - you need the pictures to be genuinely live as in you cannot reasonably expect to participate in betting nevermind win if you are watching a time delayed sporting contest. 3 - Most vitally after those two - you need the players to be solely focused on being professional and sincere and straight insofar as their objective is to compete and also, win the frame and match. In other words - the antithesis of horse racing. If you get those three things and you have my brain or a brain that functions with understanding of snooker - and a heart and appreciate risk versus reward - the opportunity to make money betting in running and antepost from snooker is to my mind as good as anything i can think of outside of political betting and perhaps rugby to an extent.
I always noticed he uses a small tip. Makes accuracy when striking the white ball harder, but gives you more positional options. For this alone I always rated his natural talent, which is obviously exceptional, but never noticed he avoids playing topspin
He's still my all-time favourite

@@jakehope6811 Aye, def' in Top 5 faves the legend. Good ole Whirlwind eh 🔥
2nd Favourite after The Hurricane!!
We're all delighted to see Jimmy doing well.
I've been waiting for this for nearly 30 years now.
A man needs a good wife to keep him off the booze, right?
Go Jimmy :)
To be doing this at 60 is astonishing.
Great to see Jimmy still playing at this level.
That pink double from Jack was turned away by the Snooker God known as The Hurricane watching from above.
total respect to the Whirlwind ☘
And mine the best to watch of all time by miles
I Love 💕 Jimmy White. A different class 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

seriously, what has he got perched on his head? He looks like Bert from Sesame Street.

28:00 is the marker blind? That's almost a ball width closer to the cushion than it should be.
Jimmy White is a dream
Bloody tight Germans with only 80 grand winner prize money !
I think Jimmy still wants a World Championship , why else would he be playing so well at 60 and clearly keeping himself in shape these days.
Jack looks older than Jimmy! Lol
on what planet
@@Valmerix on planet craggy face
@Laila Rouass 60 actually, and looks about 45.
You should have gone to specsavers if you think that.😊
Good on Jimmy. Jimmy got big balls to carry on at his age. And compete
He doesn’t look as old as he actually is. He looks younger than Hendry.
Jimmy White-великолепен!
Jimmy's hair is sublime!
It's not a hair piece I would choose! But wig wearing is a serious answer to baldness!

Looking smart Jimmy.
great to see Jimmy still doing so well. could have been champion so many times in the 90s but not for that Scottish guy...
I was there!
Alex Higgins my fav player

Pretty sure it actually costs jimmy to play on the tour
He's wealthy already.

I really felt for Jimmy here just missed chance to be three nill up or four nill even
Этот Лисоыски, игрвть ,умеет?
speed on x2 - see white playing Ronnie style
Jimmy is the OG Ronnie :)
The hair remained in the 90's though
Jimmmmmmyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.....
Bebapaloola
Jimmy on his day would have beat jack .he just missed more balls these days .
Got to respect the hair.
Jim should of won this match
I thought he retired..
The only real genius the game has seen Jimmy is.
We love Jimmy the syrup! Even though he is a bit of a dinlo
“ how is that funny” ? 😎
Does he wear a wig
It's bordering cringe worthy

Jimmy just need's to retire.
He enjoys playing why should he?
Retire your mouth
You ain't a snooker fan
You need to retire your opinion.
Jimmy White ROFL!
why does the operator show Jack's face so often lol
Any bets on 5-2 😉
Anyone noticed how Jimmy always plays with so much bottom? Never seen him play top spin... Look at 31:31 for example..
Yeah! He says it’s a habit of his and it’s a bad one, I kinda find it cool, and it looks good!
