      If you were aware of that why would you say that Cleveland big 3 out scored warriors big 3 when KD wasn’t even on the warriors when they were 73-9? And you said that with a straight face like you knew what you were talking about!! So who was the warriors big 3 because KD wasn’t on that 73-9 team

      No worries @DREAMERSPRO what Draymond doesn’t take into account IS both the East and West were weak at the time in the NBA until teams started catching up. KD going to the Dubbs will always be a weak move to me, it just will. I feel like KD is overrated because he hasn’t displayed the same hunger with Golden State against LeBron.

      My dude remember they stopped teaching probability and statistics stopped being taught as an independent curriculum so analytics is not even being practiced correctly because probability involves all aspects of a situation. Statistics give an average for actions in the situations. They say Jordan had no left he couldn’t shoot, but you got everybody being compared to MJ not Kobe NOT LEFAKE etc. That still doesn’t tell the young dudes they are flawed by modern basketball in America because fans don’t love basketball they love moments basketball creates. They see a play and don’t realize a play that was done in the first quarter made it possible to score on a move in the 4th. That’s why Kobe didn’t embrace Lefake or these other dudes. Today’s NBA is ball on the fly. You young dudes don’t realize 50% of the game has been deleted from use. It’s all screen and switch. What happened to fighting through screens. Or jamming the screener. Show and help. Back side picks. Oh yeah all that’s designed in actual plays. There’s 4 great coaches in the league and they are the last 4 teams left in the playoffs. Honorable mentions to Vogel and Ham because they were doomed from the start. Pop is maybe top 3 all time and the Spurs coming.

  • @jimcsax
    @jimcsax 24 дня назад +5

    He came back on a team that lost their best perimeter defender to suspension and then their best interior defender to an injury, a broken leg. It’s not the most impressive thing. From Kyrie’s perspective, he might be being completely truthful. People telling him what he should think is asinine. anyone that saw that series new everything changed when they lost those guys. There was no guarding anyone because there was always a lane open.
    I don’t say that to dog LeBron either. It just is what it is. A team loses it top perimeter defender, and then it’s lane clogger against a team is talented as Cleveland was, hello.

      Dear Charles,
      Remember KD wasn’t on that team during the 2016 loss. We went 73-9 without KD. Yes the Cavs won, but unfortunately the Warriors were gassed. Just giving context not excuses. Then of course Lebron called the NBA offices to successfully get Draymond suspended. Torpedoed the Finals run. It still went 7 games but just couldn’t finish the job!

    Kyrie’s toughest series was definitely the first round of the 2022 playoffs in which he and the Nets were swept by the Celtics. Irving played well in game one and even gave the Garden crowd dueling birds, but then proceeded to play like the sanitation specialist he is for the rest of the series, even when left wide open at times.

    The Warriors 73-9 team was not as good as their record would lead people to believe. When they saw the regular season wins record was in reach they put everything they had to get the record. Unfortunately they ran out of gas by the end of the playoffs. Going so hard for the season wins record was probably one of the contributing factors for losing the Championship that year.

    2016 warriors almost got bounced by the thunder and proceeded to give up 3 on lead. Kyrie also had lebron and Love on his team and several good role players and there was barely any defense played. Now he was playing with just luka against the number 1 seed who has a very young quality core with the MVP runner up. Not to mention the refs are allowing defense to played which makes it all alot tougher. His comments make sense.....

    KD wasn't on the 73-9 Warriors team. Also, the question was about "close out" games, which wouldn't include series where they never had 3 wins. So that excludes 2017 from consideration.

    The thing is hoopers ALWAYS have a clear memory of the hardest games, the best games, etc they ever played. So chances are Kyrie didn't forget the Warriors. And he did say, "This is PROBABLY the toughest series ..." He could have also meant that playing with Lebron made everything easier, so even though it was a 73-9 team, it wasn't that tough a series. So there are many ways of looking at what he said and meant.

    Can we OFFICIALLY rename LeBalco James his new name: LeRevisionist History Blames? That might be more fitting. 2016 Finals Warriors lost AS MANY GAMES IN THE PLAYHOFFS (9) as they did ALL SEASON LONG. That team, imo, was OVERRATED because the NBA regular season isn't taken seriously by all participants. When it came TIME to REALLY play they were DOWN 3-1 vs OKC and had Westbrook UNDERSTAND that he was #2 and KD was #1, they probably win the series. And what happened in the 2016 Finals? DRAYMOND was suspended! Bogart, hurt. Iggy? Bad backm playing hurt, and CURRY WAS FOULED OUT in Game 6 (which is INSANE for a player of that caliber).
    So yeah, the FRAUD KING and the most OVERRATED PLAYER IN NBA HISTORY can pretend like "that right there made me the greatest of all time, " but ONLY in his DELUSIONAL mind. He will NEVER TOUCH MJ. Heck, he will NEVER EVER touch KOBE, let alone the GOAT of GOATS MJ.
    You are considered the BEST in your PROFESSION when somebody, anybody, calls you "the Michael Jordan of..."
    The day somebody says, with a straight face, "you are the Lebron James of..." then, and only then, will I take LeRevisionist History Blames seriously lol.
