I have a strange question. So I have this friend who went and got herself involved in a Hare Krsna community where she had to suffer tremendously. The twist in the tale is that this happened only due to her bad karma. But as HDG has mentioned in the introduction to BG As It Is, karma is not eternal and now she is perfectly happy and jolly by the grace of the Lord. But the problem is that she cannot become a materialist again because naturally she is vibrating at a different frequency now. Nor can she become involved in KC again due to traumatic memories. (just like how some of the children who were abused in the Dallas gurukul found even the sound of Hare Krsna nauseating due to the negative experiences in a devotional environment). Her position is so delicate/fragile that she cannot even leave the house. She’s currently like an empty shell/blank slate. There appears to be no way out of this impasse. What is the solution?
I just feel like technically speaking it’s not possible for anyone to “mislead” anyone because the Lord is sitting in the heart of every single living entity and directing their movements accordingly. So it’s basically a situation of “like attracts like”. Yogyam yogyena yujyate……
