Zambia's boxing icon Patrick Chinyemba made his debut in the IBA Champions Night on Friday 27 October 2023, where he outpointed Russia's Artur Nagapetian 6-0 to make history as the first African boxer to win a fight in IBA Champions Night in Tajikistan's capital city, Dushanbe.
Chinyemba is a flyweight gold medallist in the 2022 Africa Championships in Maputo and a Commonwealth Games bronze medallist from the Birmingham Games.
