i really appreciate that, since you can't film during an actual consult/procedure, you take the time to 'recreate' what you did and the equipment used. great video!

How do you live?!? Editing amazing videos, working such an important job, playing/practicing the violin, and eating, sleeping, social life, and mental health!?
I worked in a primary care office and asked those docs how they got through medical school and residency. They said caffeine and that was about it 😂 also taking vitamins was another answer a doc gave me.

You never know if you don't try! I was scared of trying to get into nursing school and I decided one day just to go for it - I'm now in my second year of nursing school. Reach for the stars! 🌠
Just wanted to tell you that whenever I feel disheartened or unmotivated to study and work to get into medicine I watch your videos and you always make me enthusiastic again. Thankyou.
I was on a night shift not so long ago. Walking down a hospital corridor I realised I was humming the tune you use in your videos. Thanks for all the inspiration throughout medical school. From England
Bonnie Hundley Very true! All the codes I’ve been involved with (in EMS) have had me going on pure adrenaline for 4-6 hours minimum. I’m not a coffee consumer at all and caffeine actually makes me sick, so a good adrenaline surge was helpful when I was like dragging in the last few hours of a shift. But when that adrenaline crash comes... it really comes. Thankfully, I’m usually off by then!

It just seems so real and it’s refreshing to see someone share something like this on RUclips ❤️ sending lots of love!! HI SIOBHAN!!! you have inspired me to go back to school to become a doctor, I quit going to school my junior year of college, but seeing you in action and all the good you do really inspired me to thank you. I don’t know if you’ll ever see this but if you do just know how much I appreciate your uploads. Love and blessings. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great team work of you Siobhan for taking care of a Pneumonia patient and your service is really good to your patients Siobhan. May God make you more successful Siobhan
The fact that you share what you can about each patient (without violating HIPAA) is what makes your channel different from other channels like this. The other channels that do these "day in the life videos" need to watch some of your videos to see how to make a great informational video for us medical nerds!😀 I cant find another channel on RUclips that is as awesome as yours! I’m hooked on your videos right now. You rally give such a great insight into a doctors life! Thank you for being so dedicated to your work, the world needs more people like you xx
Wow I just got to say seeing you work at a hospital as a student, playing the violin, and RUclips channel and have a smile on your face while doing it is really inspiring and shows what hard work looks like! Your doing a great job juggling everything!
Could have been a wing that they had recently closed but hadn't had a chance to get cleaned up. I noticed most of the computers were off or in sleep mode.
Not sure how I came across your videos but needless to say I’m thoroughly enjoying them. I currently work for Cleveland Clinic as an IV Core tech, so to see this different side of a hospital is fantastic! My previous hospital job, pharmacy was required to show up for a Code Blue and it was a rush. Thank you for being on the front line taking care of pts and know that you’re supported by other healthcare professionals behind closed doors.
Youre such a hard worker, and your positive attitude and warm personality really shines through!! I am not even studying to be in the medical field, but i find content like this so entertaining! You gained a new subscriber🧡
Thank you for sharing your clinical decision-making thought processes. Very interesting for both non-physician providers and lay-persons alike to better understand how physicians make clinical conclusions.
You use EPIC too!! I’m an ER tech and I recognized the program. I love seeing your videos and how you explain each patient!!! It’s very interesting 😍❤️
I absolutely love how creative you are at sharing the experience of what you do without interfering with confidentiality. All the shots of rooms, equipment, and even the clip of doing compressions on a dummy are so fun and interesting to see! Great job, I really do feel like I get to be right along side of you!
Siobhan, your videos always put me in such a great mood! Your energy just radiates through the screen!! Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule saving lives to make videos for us! Love from Toronto!💕
Thank you for taking the time to make these videos. I've always loved learning new things, especially medical because you never know if one day this info could help someone you care about.
Yay more :) Glad to see you back Siobhan. Question, Can you read the French on the name plates, or is it there near a free time space, to learn medical jargon in French?
Such a great video to watch. What an insight! Thank you. Your shift was so long... and there's people out there moaning about a 7.5 hour shift and you've just done a 12+ hour one. Thank you again for all that you do for people!
Honestly through out watching your videos and you reporting the consults to us sometimes i get the diagnosis right and some of the nurses at my job think im a trooper but i always tell them i owe it all to siobhan who now is a third year medical resident! Love your videos alot i learn alot from them..keep up the great work
Just started watching your videos and really enjoy them. I've experienced a heart attack but didn't know I was having one since I didn't have what thought were "typical symptoms", pain in the left arm or neck area. I later found out the symptoms i had were "typical" but seemed only medical folks knew they were. I think it started in the morning when I was in Dublin Ireland and finally in the evening while back in the states and having what I thought was "heartburn" finally drove myself to the hospital at 2 am the following morning. While on the monitor the Dr told me I was having a heart attack and a couple minutes later I thought I passed out, waking up to about 15 people standing around and the Dr said "welcome back". I later found out my eyes rolled back in my head and went into arrest. The nurse did CPR and shocked me and I came back. When they did the cath procedure I had 100% blockage in the LAD and he put in a stent. I realize how fortunate I am every day now but before this happened I never realized what are heart attack symptoms besides pain down the left arm. Thats for doing these videos ;)
I wish all doctors were like you and wanting to do all the tests right away to find answers right away. I know some people who still don't have answers as to what's wrong with them.
