Pretty much yeah, they had such a strong season the previous year, and now this. What a fall from grace. Like Makinen said in San Remo 2001, that Evo 7 is a completele disaster
I mean they didn't even try, god knows why they thought putting their odds on Alistair and Delecour was a good idea, no disrespect to them two but we can agree that they couldn't do much, they were outpreformed by Paasonen most of the rallies he was in even tho he was the third driver. Such a shame since this turned out to be the last year we'd see Ralliart running an EVO (The WRC04 was based on a plain old pedestrian lancer)
"Trop tard" in French means too late, so I'm assuming his stand in co-driver was delivering notes too slowly, which could have caused the crash (late braking for a corner, not enough time to set up the car correctly etc).

I don't usually use the word catastrophic, but I really think that sums up Mitsubishi's 2002 WRC season.

That tree branch is really nasty. Higgings, Makinen, Sainz, Gardemeister and even Colin McRae hit it. At least Burns only clipped it.
21:34 Penny Mallory in the background, trying to get a scoop for Channel 4's coverage.
Excellent....
Why was Francois Delecour angry at 19:05?

Should have got out and got rid of the helmets and go for it
@@marktrenfield Could the co driver have a note that stray fence weight (not sure what you'd say to describe that) is on the road a half yard too far?

delecour it was our own mistake.
