Ramadan Mubarak! Thank you for this wonderful chance to see the market just before the Holy month begins. So many people! And the food variety made me hungry! I wished I could buy. We are in the USA, where there are no crowds shopping before Ramadan, of course. The main thing I search for here are good quality dates. They are expensive, but worth it.
You always include such nice details-- the cat at the fish stand, the beautiful public drinking-water fountain, the mosque interior (I wish that segment was a little longer this time). Also pausing so that we could hear the athan.. For those of us far from Muslim lands, it touches the heart ❤️
I,m Welsh but live here in Antalys. You asked how will I celebrate Ramadan. Easter and Ramadan are together this year so I celebrate Easter with the bonus of Ramadan....there is only one God we both worship Prayers for Peace xxxn
Hi Nancy, thank you so much for your kind words. Indeed there is only one God and same God we pray. Hope we meet one day 💕Have a great time in beautiful Antalya
Dear sister,we are living different parts of world, different cultures, language, food, but one thing unites us is Islam, proud to be muslim wherever you are, love from India, Ramazan Mubarak
well said sister. we are far from each other but islam unites us. I am lucky to live in anisland where hindu are the majority but where I live I am surrounded with musliim . we are free to pratice our religion . mas jid every where Alhamdulillah. The noor of ramadan is everywhere. As for shoping it starts before ramadan until the eve of eid. Applying mehendi at every corner of the street. 2 years we were in lockdown we thank Allah to protect us and take this calamity. Ya Rabb ul ALAMEEN
Ramadan Mubarak to all of my brothers and sisters around the world. Whatever your condition is currently, may Allah bless you with that which is 1,000x better. Ameen.
Thank you for this wonderful vlog. Gosh, Turkey has so much to offer. Can’t wait to see this amazing and beautiful country full of culture, delicious food, and so many attractions.
Ramdan kareem to you and your family. May Allah bless us with his mercy in this month and protect all ummah. Ramdan kareem to all Muslim brothers and sisters.
I just came from Turkey and enjoyed a lot. I visited most of the mosques, the Gran Bazar and Spice Bazar. I stayed in Sumengen hotel in Fatih. I’m making plans to return soon. I love your country and it’s people!
Beautiful ambience, love everything about Turkei culture. I'm from Sri Lanka and we too start preparing days before Ramadan, thats what makes it special. Visiting Turkei is in my bucket list. Hope I can one day. Insha Allah
I love this so much, thanks for sharing. As a Iraqi/Turkmanian girl living in a western country, I really miss the feeling of Ramadan around the city/country and when I see a video like this I just love it so much. It makes me miss Turkey and I can't wait to be back for vacations days like it was pre-covid.
I just got back from visiting Turkey yesterday. What a beautiful country! Spent 12 days.. we toured 1800 miles - Istanbul, Ankara, Troy, Cappadocia, Canakkale, Kusadasi, Pamukkale, Konya.. I’m home and I miss it already!
It’s amazing seeing your share, sister. Now I really really wanna experience Ramadan in Turkey some day. To answer your question, in Malaysia we do have similar preparation like you guys do especially the day before Ramadan begins, people looking for dates and other ingredients. And many will be looking for traditional delicacies that are more synonymous with Ramadan.
Thank you for sharing your story for welcoming Ramadhan. Preparation for Ramadhan looks great and so happening in Istanbul. I love everything in Turkey, from food, spices, carpet, scarves, weather and people all are beautiful..

Assalammualaikum,i'm from Singapore,i luv the video,in my country we don't hav to prepare so much for Ramadhan because the shops are so near from oour apartment, everyday we can just buy after we come back from work
It was such nice to listen and watch to this video that you've made I want to say that i am from Bosnia and Herzegovina, city of Zenitsa, and for Ramadan we are always buying dates, and some basic needs for house For each iftar we are preparing traditional food as sign that it is Ramadan now. May Allah accept your fasting and prayers. Thank you for the tour of the legendary Turkish markets. So many samples. Thank you also for the cat videos.
Oh, what a beautiful video this was! I always enjoy outdoor markets. When I was in Korea, I shopped in them, and would walk through when I visited Mexico and Thailand. Here in the United States, I try to shop for my produce in the farmer’s markets. But I think your outdoor market is my favorite. I always learn from your channel. As a Catholic, we do our fasting and eating in a different way during Lent, so this is so interesting, new, and beautiful to me. I’m not sure of the proper greeting, but I wish you and your family a peaceful and blessed Ramadan. 💕
Hi Maggie, thank you so much for details and kind wishes. I wish you the same. I know that Cristians also fast but don't know the details. Best wishes from Istanbul
