I have been tweeting about her brilliant acting which those who have watched the show fully since it aired in October said that she has been nailing it. It's just now due to her character's global popularity that her acting is noticed more.
Yes, she's beautiful. Yes, she's sexy and goergous in everyway but her ability to convey different emotions in a line is amazing!
Like yesterday's episode when she barged into Eva's office with such anger to disgust and suddenly a deep kind of pain at the mentioned of her break up w/ the only person who puts a smile on her face.
Then between crying, sadness & anger, she transitioned into a stone cold bitch telling Eva may she be left alone. I swear that her timing & delivery was just on point. I felt every word she said.
It must be emotionally draining and tricky to be in such intense emotion required by her scenes but she just nailed them. She's brilliant & I am falling in love with her more & more.
My Barbie on the other hand complimented Maca's style. She went into this stronger & mysterious independent kind of vibe & she did it so well that others watching her character felt she was cold hearted when she broke up with Val not realizing that she is actually the relatable one in real life (at least to me) because when faced with problems, I tend to suck it up, overthink & play it on my brain over & over until I just either walk out or chose to deal with my pain on my own.
This, I think added flavor to their pairing. A delicious outcome!
Agree with everything you said, Mockingbird. I think #Juliantina could very well be our all-time favorite couple.
Yes I think she is Amazing, she shows, strength, vulnerability, and all with a smile, with courage, and she enfrents whomever, and defends her love, I'm just so in Love with her, Valentina Cabajal is such a great character, and Maca is just perfect for that roll❤❤❤❤

Both are powerhouse actors - and when their characters get back together again Maca and Barbara will have the challenge of dealing not only with family /societal stuff, but with a real potential killer - Valentina needs to get sober.

Dear Mari - LOL That's what soul sisters do and are to one another. I'm just so sorry that I can't do any more online chatting. Now I work 7 days a week and can only steal time (or don't sleep) to make videos. A few years ago, a group of us met on Skype on Saturday nights, and as you could guess, some disagreement erupted into a fight, and the once fun thing to do was destroyed in a heartbeat. I very much miss those four great friends, who are no longer here. Talking is not like writing. You have too little time to think or reconsider, and then you can't take back what you didn't mean to say. YT used to have a 'personal messages' function, but not anymore. On one hand, it's good that we don't have it because there had been SO many hate messages, as well as religious condemnations, that I received. On the other, there is no way to community privately with anyone. Don't know who to blame, sweetest.

I can try, sweetest, but you have to provide a translated English lyric for me. :-} I once made a video for a fan of Song2519 with a very sweet Thai song, but it wasn't too hard because the lyric was like a 2-verse repeat with a simple meaning. Now if you want me to try a song in Spanish, it could take me quite a while, but we can try. :-} I just thought that you already have a million songs in Spanish being set to Juliantina. You're right; it's getting boring with the beat-up and tear-down of the lesbian/gay family members in soap story lines. I couldn't get over how they killed off Cristina in Tierra de Lobos and Kate In Last Tango in Halifax. Always hated the writers for doing that. Don't know whether it's a requisite in order to be allowed for broadcast or a satisfaction for some people. They never care if us the lesbians keep cussing them for it for years to come. LOL But in this case, it still makes good drama to get all the viewers' emotions stirred in all directions. I'm happy that at least 'HOT' Eva isn't as mean as Oscar, the father of Jade. Ugh! We can only hope they'll do the characters and the fans justice in some way, sweetie.
