I started using plastics for walleyes 3 years ago and it's primarily all I use now. I've heard plenty of skeptics tell me you have to use live bait like shinners and chubbs but I disagree. In Minnesota shinners are up to $13 a dozen and no matter what you do a bunch die before you hit the water.
We do eat fish and keep small fish to eat at times but just eat them fresh. I get to fish a lot when I am home and just keep them if I want to eat fish that day but just keep what I need for that meal.
More smallmouth bass than largemouths in that country but there are some really nice bass. Excellent smallmouths but we have caught some nice largemouths as well.
@@demoderby181 This is a little editing technique called B-roll footage to be employed when the host or guest is speaking about something that may not have amazing reel effect in the head shot interview. They are the same fish, but the 17:00 is file footage from the initial catch.
