Thank you for this heavenly sound. It raises my vibration every time I listen to it. What a beautiful being you are to give us all this gift. Bless you
This helps me with my anxiety. I think there's something about the reverb or the unpredictable yet predictable melody that makes my ears soft and my thoughts flow or just be forgotten. Either way, it's a nice video for a ambient background. :)
The tones of these things and other objects such as singing bowls are at the proper frequency to relax us. Music and sound has major psychological impacts. It's why horror films use specific frequencies and sound pitches to make the audience uneasy and tense, or specific deep rhythmic beats are great for nightclubs because people attune to it and go with it. Then we have stuff like this which calms our mind and eases tension.
me too ,i wanted to buy one about 18 years ago but they were crazy expensive glad i didnt i like relaxing listening to it ,not playing it ! and its free to do that lol
I'm learning pan drum now, and holy it's harder then you think. Sure you can randomly hit notes but then it sound like your randomly hitting notes.. staying in the same rhythm is SO hard
@@Keyakina No it's not hard. When you walk down the street you are moving in perfect rhythm, aren't you? Try going out, walk on the street for at least 1 minute, then start a simple clapping rhythm along with your walking rhythm. E.g. you can clap twice with each left-right, or four times - you'll remember, "Oh yeah, I do have perfect rhythm after all. Just forgot." The weirdest thing for our busy minds is silence. It's called "rest" in music. We desperately want to fill in the silence. "Music is the space between the notes" and "meditation is the space between the thoughts." To practice silence in rhythm, while you're walking and clapping a rhythm e.g. with four claps, now take away one of the claps and put a rest there, e.g. 'clap-clap-rest-clap.' If you are walking, you'll have to try fairly hard to screw this up. Just relax and let there be a space, everything will be fine. As you get the hang of it, change up the rhythms and the rests. Just relax and keep walking and clapping. The space and rhythms are normal and natural. Meditation is not performance. It's not about comparing ourself now to someone else at another time. It's about listening into the silence here and now. The rhythm is there as a container for us to guide us into listening into the silence.
That is not the sound of that instrument, this is a mere controller, you can even make it sound like a piano or (why not) a set of tuned bottles of water...
Seems everyone is amazed by this video and many are argueing how this can't be real. I hear the sound, I see the mallets hitting the right notes at the right time. So this cannot be NOT real. It's fantastic!

Close your eyes... Breathe in deep through the nose, and slowly out through the mouth. Repeat a few times, while steadily clearing your mind of all worries and stress going on in life. Now... Imagine yourself in a foggy asian mountain range. You're atop a rocky hill with grass and dark green growth on the dark gray rocks. There's a distant waterfall, steadily creating a small background ambiance. The fog only allows you to see the hill you're on, and the ones nearby. But it's just you... Nobody else to stress you out. Just you. You stand up... And open your eyes. Meditation is done. How did I do?

You stumble upon a couple who greets you and your friend and invites you both to a party which you both kinda brush off, hours go by.... the sun went down and then you started to think of actually enjoying yourself and not worrying about what could happen. You take off your sandals grab her hand or whoever your partner is and lead the way, you breathe in fresh air and feel thick grass under your feet, tall trees ahead and a promising breeze.... you smell fresh wood burning in the distance while noticing it's getting darker-stars are getting brighter you feel the grass slipping away. with every step the ground is getting softer and your feet are getting dirty by the damp soil beneath. You unbutton your shirt a little as your face is with shining sweat your friend is surprised that they've never seen you this way. You both make a promise to each other letting one know that you aren't scared of anything anymore. You face everything together as you step foot into the unknown. Whispering in her ear your glad she came with you here, letting go of all thoughts and above and you feel something you thought you never could've, a simmering warmth and scent with a blush you realize this is your true love.
