      He may have been asking about what dance school?
      Why do people always assume the worst?
      There’s nothing wrong with being cautious but there’s also no reason to create nefarious intent when you really don’t know.
      People tend to ask generic questions like that…with adults it’s “where do you work? What do you do? Married? Kids? Where you from?”
      With kids and younger people it’s the same but instead of work they ask about school.
      It’s literally so knee jerk normal. It’s usually just chit chat and silence filler.
      People do talk to strangers you know…we didn’t all grow up with nothing but screens and it’s not creepy or strange to just show interest in other real life human beings.
      I’ve got kids, two daughters and 100% I assure you I wouldn’t be telling random people where they go to school but I also wouldn’t assume they’re creeps.

      It's ok, it's a very common small talk question amongst humans, folks where I live ask that all the time, especially because people have relatives or friends that go to school so people use that question to find common ground. Some of the comments here are just overdramatising because a man asked the question. If it was an elderly lady I bet there wouldn't be so much fuss. If someone wants to find you they can find you a lot easier online, or if someone has creepy intent at a school, they don't need to know what school you personally go to, they can just find a school and go to it.

    • @Ivang017

      It’s because everyone on the comments are socially inept and don’t socialize with real people. They have a victim mentally and Everyone now a days wants/needs a frightening story to be socially accepted. So they exaggerate a situation out of nothing. People are writing comments as if the girl just survived being kidnapped
      But literally nothing happened. A person just simply asked what school she went to. Such as in your situation….nothing happened.

    • @sjb4280
      @sjb4280 6 месяцев назад +7

      Its only creepy when you ask it with no context. If he started making friendly conversatiom with the mom and mentioned something like that, then it feels reasonable. But just completely by itself and then following with "oh thats really far away" without ever mentioning a kid of his own or why he would ask makes it sound a lot less benign. Even if he asked "is this for a dance school?" Or some variation, it might imply general curiosity but asking a stranger specifically what school you/your kid goes to is odd. That's just reality.

    • @aliveinhim9793

      @@sjb4280 I just don't see it as creepy. I could see myself asking the same exact question because I would have already assumed it was for a dance school. Anyway, it is the sad world we live in... where everyone has their guard up to the point where a friendly person is looked at as a creeper even if they had the best intentions. There's a very big difference between being open to kindness and being stupidly naive.
      Without context, there's no good reason to ask a stranger how they can find them unless the sentiment is mutual.
      Especially in young girls, strangers think it's their right to one-sidedly force an intimate relationship.
      That's not "these days". That's historically true in every era.
