Thaks for sharing Chloe. This is like a balm for the soul. To witness the fellow feeling shared here and delight in things to be grateful for, for nature in its glory, the chestnut, healthy vegetables. The grandeur of countryside and the farm. These dimensions are made deeper still by the connection with and honor to those who came before us. It also made me smile to see your Mum again, she is just so naturally cool and charming.

Thank you for watching Paul! Such a special thing to consider the people who came before us! The countryside is one of the most charming parts of South Korea I've visited! Yes, my mum is pretty charming ☺ She's a keeper for sure!

Your family memorial is beautiful ❤ I also had no idea that chestnuts came in spiky little fur coats😅

Thank you Katie, it was such a special moment! I had no idea or capacity to even question my ancestry / what my family tree looks like! Reconnecting with family and commemorating my grandparents was probably one of the most memorable parts of our trip 🥰

Thanks for sharing part one of you and your family vacation… I actually grew up around a Korean family and going over their house and sometimes walk into the house and grandma in there making fresh kimchi. I can never get past the smell.

Thankyou so much for watching! That's awesome that you grew up close to a Korean family... I would imagine that some Korean dishes / culture would be familiar to you then! The smell of fresh kimchi can be very divisive. Some think it smells amazing, others wonder if something has died 😅
