To everyone who just discovered this song: it is the pre-release for Solar&Moonbyul's first mini album "Act 1 Scene1) as a subunit (Mamamoo+) and the title track "GGBB" (Good Girl, Bad Boy) will be released on the 29th of March! Look forward to it! =)
@@Twiceforlife132 that's a difficult question. Maybe it can be possible in the future (besides the subunit of Moonbyul&Solar, there was also Wheein&Solar and Moonbyul&Hwasa subunit in the past). The thing is that Wheein is currently not signed as a solo artist under RBW (company of Mamamoo) anymore (her solo activities are handled by a different company, but she still is a part of Mamamoo group activities). Hwasa's contract with RBW will also end in the near future and it's unclear if she is going to stay or maybe go a similar road as Wheein (remain available for group activities, but become a solo artist under another company). Moonbyul and Solar both have signed a contract with RBW until at least summer 2024. And they both also said that they had plans to make more music together in the future. Considering these circumstances it seems likely that RBW will focus on Moonbyul&Solar subunit right now. BUT a future collab between Hwasa and Wheein is of course something many fans wish for and it does not necessarily have to happen under RBW. To add some more information regarding Wheein and Hwasa: Hwasa just recently performed in Paris and said something along the lines "The next time I return, it will be with a new album", so we probably can expect a new Hwasa solo album in the near future!!! It was speculated for Wheein to have a solo comeback in spring as well, but currently there is a controversy surrounding the CEO of her company and depending on how this situation evolves, her comeback might be postponed. But what we know for sure: Mamamoo world tour continues in May+June in the US. So we will see all four members on stage together soon!

Normally I’d agree but they’re getting praised for it while they use Black culture that doesn’t get acknowledged for who it’s from and is never celebrated but normalized to the point that Korean instruments stand out but not the Koreans using Black culture for profit. And y’all compliment it using Black slang. It just feels like erasure and amalgamation happens in kpop to everyone but Koreans themselves and it’s not vibing with me. But I’m glad I watched.
