Ruan Lingyu: Teaser of behind-the-scenes documentary about "The Goddess"

In this teaser by director Zou Shuang, film director Stanley Kwan introduces Ruan Lingyu, star of Chinese silent film "The Goddess" (1934). "The Goddess" was re-mastered by the China Film Archive in Beijing in 2014, and the KT Wong Foundation commissioned composer Zou Ye to write a new orchestral score for the film. The re-mastered film with accompanying orchestral performance of the new score has thus far premiered in Beijing, Shanghai and Paris, with the UK premier taking place at the BFI London Film Festival on October 14, 2014.
