Hi girls! As I mention at the end of the video I’m planning allll the autumn/winter content at the moment (lots and lots of videos in December… 😬) so just wanting to know what you enjoy most on youtube so that I make sure to include what you love for cosy season 🤎🍂
Hi, Hannah! The content I watch most of the time is the same as the one you watch - houses, but I also love watching a slow morning routine which is somehow realistic. Decorating vlogs as well, walks and also like you did in this vlog, sharing how people plan to renovate their house or decorate it better or just mini changes to their places. Also, days filled with errands and stuff like that. Pretty much your type of content, but with more house vlogs. 😁
Regarding the wardrobe, I personally would add doors, because judging by the rest of the space in my house, everything gets dusty quickly, especially when we keep the windows open more through this time of the year for more fresh air, and the clothes would hold the dust. It will look more clean as well and the room as well will look very neat and cosy. But you can always add doors in the future if you do not enjoy the look or else of the closet. Hope that helps! 💞

I'm new to your content but find your videos incredibly soothing. Sometimes when I'm feeling low they really cheer me up. Your videos are very artistic- you have a fantastic eye and scene by scene they are so pretty. You come across really well too; very genuine, confident but not arrogant, and kind. Just someone trying to make their life as beautiful and enjoyable as possible and then sharing it. More please!
One thought I had as you were talking about the living room plans and two small sofas…I love the look of two parallel sofas, and I totally get not wanting to cover up the window, but you also want a sofa that will be big/long enough to actually stretch out/be cozy/cuddle up on. If the sofas are too small, you may end up not using the space as much as you want to. It’s difficult to get a sense of room size, but maybe you could go for one longer sofa, and two chairs opposite it (chairs could be in front of the window to allow for maximum flow around the window). Just a thought!!
Hannah, I think You’re gonna regret not having doors in your closet, because clothing gets very dusty that way. As a person who moved twice into self-designed apartment this year, I can assure You it’s gonna happened. In my first flat I also wanted open closet do display my clothing etc. but the amount of dust was just astonishing (and I am not a messy person). In the second apartment I’ve chosen closed ones because of it and now my clothing is fresh and clean. Just a suggestion 🤍🤍

Yes I just wanted to tell you the same. And it is so enjoying because it gets dusty really fast and it’s hart to get it out of your coats etc. ❤
Totally agree. Your project is really nice and I also like to see what I have inside wordrobe as an option to wear but because of dust the doors are much needed...even if you take care of cleaning a lot!

If you use a stick mixer just for a couple of seconds it really bring out the flavours, then put the pasta back in, not sure if you used an organic chicken stock cube as well. Good luck from Rosie O from Devon England x 👏🇬🇧

For the formal living room, you should put two arm chairs with a little side table between them in front of the big window! Then have a sofa facing opposite them with a coffee table in the middle and rug ❤
End sequence was divine!! Lovely video overall. In regards to the living room, I would encourage leveraging upholstered swivel chairs opposed the second settee. Two chairs and a settee will visually take up less space and open the room compared to two settees. But I am sure the pair of settees will work well too.
I've only just discovered you. Actually it was your weight loss videos that attracted me and I've slowly been binging my way through them while I'm 'working' from home. Your videos are lovely and calming and I love little Roo's cameos, anyway I just wanted to say I'm just really enjoying your videos so thank you 🙂

I'm not a cookbook person normally but I'd probably buy Kenny's if he ever made one. You're a lucky lady. Such good food so often
Personally, I would put the TV over the fireplace instead. Get a pretty reclaimed wood mantle. It would make it really cozy for watching movies and having the fire going. It would also be nice for Christmas when you have your tree up that way you will be facing it and not have it at your back when you are watching TV. It also wouldn't be reflecting off of the TV.

I esp love homey vlogs, at this time of year, cosy, cooking, house bits, decor but also features of autumnal shopping, dog walks, autumn is my favourite, so anything to do with it I’ll watch 😂. So excited for you to have your wardrobe, I would agree with other comments about having doors, I’ve had options with doors and open wardrobes and honestly, open ones were a pain, dust, the room never looked tidy, I was buying clothes based on whether they’d be coordinated & look good in the wardrobe, ridiculous 😮.

The ikea design is very similar to mine, same size too. One thing I would definitely recommend is getting another shoe rack. I have 4 on mine and already have no space left, once it’s ran out it’s ran out haha

I have the Ikea Pax wardrobe and I haven’t really made any big mistakes I’d say. I’m mostly happy with it. And also the whole system is so easily adjusted etc. Biggest things I regret is, not getting doors (ofc you can always add those and that is what I’ll be doing later). Also my wardrobe isn’t in a separate space but in my bedroom, so I think that factors in. I have the small pant rack and it’s just too small for the amount of trousers I have. I also have the shoe rack and it’s a love/hate thing. I feel like they’re kind of small and only fit 3 shoes per tray. I also have the laundry baskets drawer thing and I’m absolutely obsessed with that. No chair or whatever full of clothes for me ‘cause I can just immediately chuck it in the hamper. Very excited to see what you’ll make of yours!
I had pax with doors as it was in my bedroom I now have a wardrobe room no doors and we love it so much better. You can see everything only other thought is extra space eg boxes for trainers and for things like bikinis. I got glass doors to protect the handbags but other than that nothing gets dusty anyway.

Hi Hannah, about your soups, try adding lemon juice on the soup once it has been served on each plate. In Greece, we always add lemon juice on soups. Its delicious.

I recommend to check that the warderobe parts you order come in sizes that fit with doors you like from Ikea (I think there is a difference between esp. the 75cm and 1m ones where not all is available for both sizes, i.e. when think about sliding doors vs. cabinet style doors).
I also love the idea of an open closet to see everything but it gets dusty a lot and you need to keep it very tidy to not get annoyed by looking at a little mess when things are not in order. I planned mine 10 years back open and added doors just weeks after.
I would also be careful with planning shoes within the same wardrobe as clothes. I did not like it (smell and dirt wise) so very close to freshly washed clothes. I feel the clothes do not smell all that fresh anymore so I switched that very quickly in my apartment years back. And also even when you clean shoes, the little sand crums will be every where.
For my new house I go (again) with closed doors and shoes away from anything freshly washed where I can easily clean sand away, closer to where I leave the house as I know it is annyoing to have a long route to get shoes to where, afterwards clean, potentially let them dry and then get them back to their place to stay.
A little (LED) light in the warderobe though is super nice to see everything when opening the doors.

I love all the reset and cozy videos. They are very motivating and relaxing. Your soup might be helped by concentrated tomato paste, veg broth, liquid aminos, and lots of fresh parsley. It looks worth tinkering with!!!

Hi Hannah, lovely video as always! I wanted to share a recommendation for the recipe, the pasta you used is from my region, orecchiette, and it doesn’t suit a soup/broth, it is best used with creamy sauces such as tomato sauce, or a pesto style dressing. For the lovely soupy pasta I would perhaps use orzo pasta or a smaller type of pasta (ditali, anellini, conchigliette) as it will absorb more of the broth and make it thicker 😊 hope you’ll make it again and let us know how it goes! Love how the house is coming along ❤
Do you ever make your own hummus? You can get organic chickpeas and basically add whatever you want - tahini, lemon juice, garlic, spices, olive oil, beans, roasted veggies, or just water if you want to reduce seed oil (from the tahini). There are a million different options and it is super easy. Making it at home would allow you to know the exact ingredients/quantities and reduce the amount of single-use plastic. 😊

Love the cozy and calming energy your videos exude 🍁your house is absolutely stunning and coming together so nicely. for the minestrone try adding concentrated tomato paste, veggie bouillon (or stock) and canned San Marzano tomatoes instead of fresh tomatoes next time for a more hearty flavor 🍲

My closet has a floor to ceiling corner shelf. It makes the best of the awkward corner situation, and I like having my sweaters and pants folded on shelves but very visible and easy to pull out. I've found it easier than having things in drawers. I also learned something new in your video, because I had never heard zucchini called courgette before.

If you want to use the lounge space for yourselves it would make more sense to have a settee facing the fire with tv above and two arm chairs a more versatile to move around and look more considerd You will end up with a stiff neck watching TV from an angle. Great news that you found your car ❤

I would put the tv over the fireplace. I would get 1 sofa and 1 or 2 chairs instead of 2 sofas.
For your wardrobes, is the space on the left long enough for full length hanging? I have pax wardrobes and I don’t have enough long hanging space for longer dresses.

Check out Pooky lighting for some gorgeous statement light fittings for your hall I bought a lot from there for our air bnb in Edinburgh. Also Dunelm do lovely lights at a reasonable price. If you are looking for some extra healthy fats then in Italy we drizzle raw olive oil on top of minestrone and a sprinkle of Parmesan.

Hello Hannah! I am a bit late to ask I know🤦🏼♀️😅Where is your hallway bench from please? I like the rounder shape to it. We have exactly same narrow hallway. Your beautiful home is coming along nicely. Regarding the wardrobes , I would suggest wooden shelves as with the glass you will be forever polishing it up and wood is more country solid rustic look I think. 😊

Lovely video as usual 😊 Land Rover is the best all round brand. We used to have a Discovery because we live in the countryside, we went electric with a Tesla model X and have nothing but bother with the tyres bursting because of the country roads so we’re going to go back to a Land Rover.
