Sorry to disappoint, but Letter to My Son was first released as a bonus track for Intimacy. Even though it was technically a bonus track, it can be found on most CD versions of Intimacy, as most stores only sold that "Deluxe" edition of the CD version. Kele recently said in an interview that he regrets that it only ended up being a bonus track and not on the regular album.
Side note, Kele has also stated this is one of his favorite BP songs. It was a travesty that it didn't make it on an album and hidden away to be found. I would say the same about a lot of other BP B-sides as well, one more chance, Ideas to a story, Another weekend in the city, the list goes on.
I am happy to say that there's video is the best blog party video I have ever seen in my entire life let alone heard I am happy to say that I am also both 747th viewer to see this video
I've seen this song live about 5 times, love it.

Never seen a live version of this, thank you! A gem of a song, pity that it was a b-side.

Oh, and it's 'Forgive me, Oscar' now? I always thought the lyric was 'Forgive me, Autumn'...
From memory the album song contains both
I am using the speaker system on my iPhone so I apologize for the misspelled words.
it wasn't one it was released with intimacy
1;55 feels like Russell doesn't want his guitar notes to be filmed???
looks like he was just prepping to use a pedal
they sometimes change the lyrics live, that might be the case here i can't tell you though i don't really know this song
No. This song was originally from an ep which I believe is from before silent alarm
Bonus track on the album, buddy. Still, it's a b-side. Many fans might not know of it. And the band is unlikely to play it much live.
