Thanks Mr. Baumann for sharing these videos online for free. Not all of us have the health, money, and time to attend art classes that we so desire and you have made this possible. Bless you my brother in all your endeavors, and I pray that you be rewarded a thousand times over for your encouragement, knowledge, and generosity.

Great inspirational discussion. Nice to see the interaction with the class. I especially liked the story of the fallen angel and how now the painting holds a story that can be shared with the family.

"Will your great-great-great-grand children know what your husband did? No but they'll know you."
    Just wow. That is beautiful.

I think that's my problem most of the time, not putting enough value on the work I'm trying to create there by I lose entrust and motivation. I believe this is my biggest weakness as an artist.

I bought a large gazing ball for my garden a few years ago. It was a reflective silver ball just like a Christmas ornament, and I couldn't wait to set it up. Well it was amazing for about eight seconds, then it went over sideways and smashed.
Even my teenaged daughter felt sorry for me. "Poor mom"

Hey Stephan. Can you do a video on how to loosen up and be more painterly?

WOW, you didn't miss a beat on the guilt thing. I like to drink alcohol and I'm a democrat, and I suffer from guilt (so I fit your description) when I want to paint and there are other things to be done. Got the message! = ) Painting has VALUE, like vacuuming, or anything else.
