I only tried making a map once for l4d2 but it was so interesting, also with all of the props and just the way l4d2 is I cant wait to give it another try, hopefully it becomes reality
You’ve never used hammer++ all this time?? My man you’re the definition of “Work harder, not smarter”, regular hammer is so brain melting and hard to use
also for the css texture just drag and drop all of the models textures into the gmod foldder worked for me a and also if it says to replace something click no and yea thats it you will be golden on making maps with css models and textures
this also goes the same for l4d2 portal and every source game expect kinda tf2 since some of the wall and floor textures use the same name as some hl2 textures so yeah
@@HazmatHanger I have no clue why I didn't think of this sooner, that's gonna be a game changer for getting more range in my textures until I learn to make my own custom ones. Thanks!
wait till he see's the particles.
after you get used to h++, you will never be able to go back, its just that good
The day ++ becomes compatible with L4D2 will be a glorious day, unfort my reason for staying behind
until then, I stay stuck in the ol' program smh

@ac-251b37-yNx i couldn't imagine using regular hammer editor without the lightning previews and the extra tools
Crashes many times too
If you didnt know, you can hold alt while rotating to disable the snap to 15 degrees, not recomended for brushes
Really? I used to toggle between the whatever with SHIFT+W to ungrid and if tghis works it would save me a lot of time. So thank you!
you're one of my favorite hammer youtubers so when I saw you uploaded I clicked, was not expecting to see my stupid self
Thx for review! I'm currently deciding which tool to use.
Use arrows for moving the props/walls. It's a life changer.
