"Alright guys today we're gonna install the new Blind Spot Delete kit"
*sticks head and torso out window*
"As you can see the blind spots are totally gone, I now have 360 degree vision around the car."

So if you have the money, you can get a Blind Spot Monitoring System and a Backup Camera installed. But knowing how low the visibility is, you'd think Nissan would have added these features on to the car.

Thank you for this video man! As a lifelong Z fan and former 300zx owner looking to buy a 370, this video perfectly illustrated the blind spots. Driving in Vancouver can be hectic cause it's a big city, the blind spots are a big concern for me, love the cars though.

Clever cups exercise. Top models at least have a rear view camera.

Thanks, I am planning on installing a back up camera in the near future, might also do blind spot detection.

Finally, someone addressing and discussing this issue properly. I wanted a 350z to mod... before I watched this. Lol

I just rented a 370 for the day and immediately noticed the huge B pillar blind spots that are gonna be concerning when changing lanes...yeah the rear hatch is kind of a slot view ,I can deal with that..the windhield forward is fine to me... just the view over ur shoulders left and right is like Absent and totally blocked... I have a 94 probe gt which is hugely more vivibility from inside and I Still have had times when chaning lanes, all looked good, but a car was coming up on my blind spot... with the Z, I just dont know how owners get around that lack of visibility...this is right up there with the new supra in this regard..

In most of the examples shown here (specially the side mirrors) the "blind spots" are more than one lane to each side; most cars have such blind spots, that's why when a driver changes lanes is supposed to do it one lane at the time, looking in the side mirror in between.

Would a broadway mirror fix this?

I have to lean forward to see through both side mirrors and also turning my torso to see blind spots near the sides of my car. It's quite annoying but I wouldn't trade me 370Z for another other car.

This is really the worst disadvantage of this car. Today, I drove this car and I must honestly say that the visibility in this car is quite poor. Except for that, this car is quite amazing. Shifting gears here is so forgiving and handling is amazing, not to talk about the power of this car, which I noticed, because I had never driven something more powerful than this.

Thanks for this video! I test drove a used 2014 370Z roadster yesterday, and passed on buying it because of the poor (and dangerous) visibility when driving. I was scared driving that car due to the blind spots. Second reason I passed (though the 1st reason was enough) was that the convertible top did not work, and the top would not open and go down, but got stuck halfway at the top of the car. I did some reading up on that, and discovered this is a common glitch in all the 350 and 370z's hydraulic tops, and Nissan has no recall or anyway to repair them! Nissan will not pay for the repairs. I think the car is a dangerous and overpriced piece of cheap junk.

Try getting a new pair of glasses.
I just bought a 2019 370z sport coupe and the visibility is not that big of an issue to me. I have no trouble seeing things through the rear window.
