I am originally from europe and find it is really hard to form genuine friendships in north America. people re definitely less open and more reserved also the fact that moving around is big here. Seems like everyone is around you if they need you and then once they get what they want or get bored, they move on. In Europe, people are way more social and will actually get out of the house to meet you without a 2 weeks notice for 1 hour coffee chat. its even harder for capricorns :). These are mine and my relatives' observations about north american friendship culture.

I can tell you love skincare 🥰 also, as I'm writing this - you are speaking about not going out of your way to make friends, and I feel the same exact way! Especially with past bad experiences! And always being with my husband and kids anyway 🥰 also, I rarely come across ppl who are as happy for me as I always am truly, genuinely of others!!!❤❤❤ it does get lonely but it's nice to hear that I'm not the only one holding standards as far as not having friends just to have friends when I've seen certain traits!

I always go into a possible lasting friendship with good intentions, and then get screwed over. Over the past few years I have been very closed off, and only have a very small crew of friends who I know have my back and vice versa and I’m fine with that now. As you get older you realize A LOT, and I’m okay with not having a lot of friends. Less stress and complications lol. Anyways, you’ll love the Lancôme foundation! It’s a FAVORITE, and has been my go to for a long time now. Much love to you!

You are totally right, this is personally what I think now: When you are smart, "beautiful", stylish, educated, blablabla, people, for some reason, have evil intentions toward you. As if they want to dim your light as much as they desire what you have. Honestly, if they were to see the reality of being "us", I'm sure they would not want it. We are facing levels of betrayals and quite traumatic events it is beyond imagination, and for literally the shittest reasons ever. I recently just came out of traumatic events, and wow, this is the only reason I came up with to explain this totally free level of maliciousness. How pathetic. They are a lesson which I am grateful for. Some people can't even fathom the definition of kindness... God is Wise, real beauty always wins in the end
