I think what pushed crosshair over the edge was that he thought that the strong would survive and be rewarded but in actually palpitine made sure to weed out anyone competent under his command, rampart would have made a great moth but he was just a bit to competent to be of use. Now crosshair is serving under incompetent people who also want him dead.
@@colin8696908 Yes, Crosshair knows full well they want him dead, Rampart tried his hardest with the destruction of Kamino. Cody helped push him away as well as Mayday. And though I don't like to admit it, Omega may have planted a seed as well. On that Kaminoan platform. That's enough voices to sway even the most obstinate. Which is what Cross has been. Love him.
Mayday was like Rex, Cody, and Hunter in one. Goes to show that Crosshair misses his buddies. The only friend he’s made in the empire dying because of the empire itself 😭
It's quite interesting how Crosshair followed orders, believing he and those like him who followed orders would have value and be rewarded by the Empire for their service. It's Mayday's needless death that finally convinces him that no matter what he does for the Empire, no matter how loyal he was or what orders he carried out, in the end he would be forever seen as simply expendable and easily replaceable.
Heart breaking to watch yet one more Clone fall. Our Mayday. And was heart breaking to see Cross recognize that the powers that be are truly evil. It felt hopeless & desperate. The episode was also kind of depressing.
Mayday was the Empire's last hope for Crosshair. He was so slow to connect with him because every clone he's come in contact with has either died or ran. It's such a shame
The term Mayday comes from the French word for "help me". Even though Mayday and his men are in desperate need of new gear and supplies, no one helps them. Even when Mayday is literally dying, help doesn't come.
the best episode in the STAR WARS!!!! it shows peak of Crosshair character development, showing yet another honorable clone Mayday, I was cheering for crosshair for him to pull out his gun and pull that trigger on that scumbag imperial. BEST EPISODE AND BEST MOMENT!!!! AMAZING EDIT!!!
Nah. Honestly, he still committed a load of crimes. His whole “following orders” gig, can’t be used as an excuse. I think this is more of a wake up call.
All I could think about during this episode was Omega's last words to Crosshair on Kamino. "You're still their brother, Crosshair. You're my brother, too." Very quickly, the clones are losing ground to this new Empire. They sacrificed their lives in a war that was ultimately meaningless. They should be celebrated as heroes in this new era but are instead cast aside like yesterday's garbage. What little they had is quickly being taken from them. Soon enough, the clone army will be little more than a distant memory. I think Crosshair is starting to see the Empire for what it truly is. It doesn't care about the clones. It doesn't care about the people under its banner and it definitely does not care about him. The only people who will ever look after the clones in this new Empire are other clones. It's the clones vs the galaxy, now.
At least he died to hypothermia, which, at a certain point makes you feel warm and fuzzy until the cold finally takes you. There is certainly worse ways to go.
I actually think it has more to do with rampart. The reason crosshair stayed was because he thought the strong and loyal would be rewarded but actually palpatine removed all the strong competent people from the military. Im a little unfamiliar with the Bad Batch, I stopper watching SWCW after what was the newest season featuring Ashoka and the Siege of Mandalor (I believe I misspelled that), can anyone tell me what Bad Batch is about? I remember them earlier in the season when they rescued Echo but what is this new season about- the Empire?
Hi. The Bad Batch starts off with order 66 and with what happens a little after the order with clones. The show is mostly about the bad batch defecting from the Empire and them (except Crosshair) roaming galaxy with a young girl who's a clone like themselves while trying to find their place. There is more but it'll take forever to explain....you have to watch it to understand the storyline a bit more. I hope I made sense.
Mayday deserves a good ending. He is just a kind dedicated clone who did everything that was asked of him. May he be chilling with Fives, Hevy, Hardcase, and 99 up above. 🫡
This episode is easily one of the best in Star Wars history. Mayday and Crosshair really bonded and his death finally pushed Crosshair over the edge.
Most definitely

Mayday was a really good commander he even saved crosshairs life that’s what leaders do for their men
Agreed 👍

if crosshair doesn’t have a somewhat good ending i’ll be really upset
Definitely. He better have a good ending
good ending? its gonna be tragic.
@@Luis-by7li oh it better not 😭

He deserves to live. He's paid his dues. The empire saw to that, he's endured enough emotional torture. Please leave our Cross alone. *#SAVECROSSHAIR*

This episode most definitely is! And I couldn't agree more. I was so happy when Crosshair shot that imperial piece of trash.
Also, thank you ✨️✨️
RIP Mayday 😭
Mayday's gear looks sick
It really is 🔥
for me Crosshair is redeemed now
I think so too

Mayday changed Crosshair and Crosshair deep down inside wanted that change.

This was beautifully said and so true 🥺✨️👏 And I agree Crosshair starts to to see how the Empire views and treats them
@@GarEdits No matter how high he goes or how many missions he completes, Crosshair will never be anything more than expendable to them.
@@Luc42 you are so right
Mayday is the best Clone so for
Indeed he is
rip Mayday
I hope if Crosshair escapes the clone prison he does something with his armor to honor Mayday who saved his life.
Oh, I hope so. And also with Omega. That would be awesome if he did something like that to honor Mayday.
Probably the second best episode
Definitely!
Best in my eyes, especially after filler like Faster and Entombed

If it turns out he gives up the empire for this random clone then why didn't he do it from the start with the team he spent his life with.
that's a very good question. I feel like Mayday left a strong impact on him and following his death, it showed the empire's true colors.
