I have been an avid reader ever since my mama taught me to read at the age of 4. But, as an adult, I really got into thrillers (more of the mystery side, not horror), but still, the Holy Spirit started checking me lately. I would be halfway through the book and some things would come up that I knew I shouldn't get into my mind. I had to ask for self-control to be able to put the book down and leave it. I actually don't remember the last time I read a true thriller. I've been focused on a lot of Jonathan Cahn books and also Christian fiction. When it's a secular book, it's usually a classic or historical fiction. And I truly don't miss the thrillers now. That's what happens when you fully submit your will to Holy Spirit! AMEN!
