Hi I'm Mikee. I make instrumental backing tracks with influences from different genres using a combination of live instruments and VSTI's.
Here you will find original guitar backing tracks for you to practise improvising guitar, singing, rapping or whatever musical instrument you play.
I upload guitar jam tracks in different keys, time and genres including R&B, Blues, Hip Hop, metal, Reggae, rock, melodic rock, funk, soul, 80's and more.
New backing / jam tracks every monday, wednesday and friday.
The backing tracks are free to play over for social media videos.
I sell licenses for full distribution.
Email mikesguitarbackingtracks@gmail.com if you are interested.
If you have any requests for upcoming backing tracks or want to contact me you can email me.
If you like my content and would like to support the channel you can buy high quality downloads from bandcamp, amazon, Itunes and stream on pretty much all the streaming platforms.
You can also subscribe on bandcamp for £6 per month and you can download all of my new tracks and also get loads of backing tracks from my back catalogue.

Very dark. I like it. If only I didn't have these damn responsibilities I could go home and jam this ASAP
You and me both bro :)
@@stratplayer2 I got NO responsibilities , I'll JAM for both of ya 🙃
Don't you hate it when life just doesn't let you live?
Good one Don! 😄

Nice one Don. Have fun!
Wow !!! Good job !!!
A Aeolian boys. My favorite. Now if this technologically challenged old man can learn to record and upload, I'd be a happy old man. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
What kind of interface do you have? (something to connect your guitar to your computer) I do mine by recording the output of the backing track and a line out from my fm3 through an interface on my computer and a DAW. I usually set my phone up to do the video and match the audio to the video later (little more complicated.) Hopefully that's not too much over your head.
@@cbsaulren Thanks so much for your reply, and yes, I've seen some content about intrface and DAW(no clue),I have a Tascam DP-03 portastudio, a Boss ME-25, an old 80's Marshall Lead 20, an SM 57, and 2 great guitars. May be able to connect to the computer. Just getting back into playing after 8 yrs. Have disk disease in my neck, and finally able to play again. I'll have to find some tutorials and see where I can start again. Very frustrating, but I'll figure it out. Playing for 49 yrs. and miss it dearly. Don't have the scratch to make any major investments, though. But thanks again for your reply. Do you have any videos on YT. Would like to check them out.
I just use my phone to record and another phone to play music and record using camera. Simple
@@ltgray2780 Happy to help! I enjoy sharing my improvs and encourage others to. There's so much highly edited robotic playing on RUclips and I'd rather see real playing from the heart.
Looks like the BOSS ME25 has an aux input and a USB connection so you could use it as your interface. The tascam looks like it has a USB connection as well. I'd like to say it's easy to set up but it can be confusing at first. Once you get a proper setup you won't have much trouble.
I would recommend downloading a free DAW (fancy recording software) I use an artist version of Studio One but most DAWs are pretty similar so once you figure out one you can use whichever you like. Practice recording by playing the backing track over your phone or an audio device and use a 1/8" cable to your BOSS (if your phone has a headphone jack). There are ways to route audio output from your computer into the DAW but it gets tricky.
Or if all this seems too daunting, most phones these days have decent cameras and you can just prop it up while you jam. The audio won't be the greatest but it works. I know someone who uses a really nice camera to record and the camera has an AUX so he routes his audio mix directly into the camera when he records so he doesn't have to try to match it up to the video later.
Hope that helps!
Hey you can get an audio interface pretty cheap. Download the track from Bandcamp and load it onto a track in a DAW then make another track for your guitar hit record and shred on!
